It's really up to the mother. But i do hope that they can actually respect the surrounding people. Not too openly i hope.

why not.the mothers can always go to a corner away from every one looks. i doubt if anyone stares at a mother feeding her child

no i don't. i think it should be a very personal, private thing. definately not something you share with the world.

Do you want to play games with starving children. If you don't want the baby, go for other options. Don't starve them. Gift the Baby to any care taker keep your wife in a safest room, without giving any scope for peeping Toms... Right,

This fully depends on the person. It depends whether the person feels confortable to do it or no. I live in canada and by law any women can walk around top-less. So giving that freedom, no one does that. :)

Before i was a mother i didnt think so, and sometimes when i see it, it kinda weirds me out a little, but at the same time, us mothers need to go out and do things all the time, and when a baby needs to be fed, well a baby needs to be fed, i guess we dont have a choice. Personally i would probably go to a bathroom, but tht optionisnt always there

Absolutely. And I don't think a shawl or blanket is necessary. Most women are perfectly capable of nursing discreetly without using a blanket to cover. Blankets really just scream "HEY!! I'M NURSING OVER HERE!!"
