Have you ever been in the Philippines?

Philippines is a country i am very much proud of, despite of poverty, you would see smiling faces among citizens in this country, plus there are a lot of beautiful scenarios here, such as Boracay, Mayon volcano, Chocolate Hills and many more. So have you been here? Can you share your experience here?

The Philippines is a wonderful country that I have learned much about. It is right at that the top of my travel wish list and I plan to go there in 2014 so sooner. I would prefer to fly into Cebu than Manila. Then I will be able to see the Chocolate Hills, spend time on the palm fringed beaches, do some snorkeling and see if I like Boracay Island. I would adore going to Palawan and Coran. I think I would travel around the Philippines by ferry and plane. I love visiting tropical destinations and I am sure that I will love it in the Philippines.

I've heard of Boracay and wouldn't mind going there but I have also heard about the potential violence. Maybe one day.

Every country has a potential violence, so what makes Philippines different from others? come and visit one day, to prove that Philippines is such a wonderful country. Maybe someday I could tour you here. Have a nice day:)

I would love to visit and explore all the islands etc. I am aware some islands are dangerous due to violence. It is not on my to visit list just yet but one never knows what the future will bring. If you were advising someone who is coming for a week, what would you suggest they see?

There are a lot of places to come to, for every region has his own way of uplifting itself, I would suggest for them to go to Boracay, a white sand beach, to Mayon Volcano, a perfect triangular/coned volcano, the underground river in Palawan which is already in the 7 new wonders of the world and there is much more.
