I need to write more!

Hubpages has been a great way to earn money just by writing articles and just leaving them for people to visit. Last month I made the most that I have ever done with the ad program which was $3.86 and I need to get to $50 before I can cash out so it's going quite slow.
My issue is that I just never know what to write about, I seem to procrastinate too much but I know if I write a few more articles I'll make more money as I'll get more views. Seems so stupid but I can't motivate myself and I don't know what to write about :(

I keep a 'notepad' going of ideas for articles. What I do is any time something is said on a show on tv or in a movie that I am curious about I write in down. Sometimes something online peaks my interest too and I write it down. One of these things is sure to peak my interest and I will start doing some research on it. While doing the research I will write down the important points in a document and then I go back and organize and write up, expand, etc. until I have an article. I have several up that I need more info or need to expand on alittle. And to keep my motivation going I will write atleast two hours a day. I make myself do this. If you do that before you know it its a habit.

That's a great idea that's what I should be doing. Many times I come across something of interest and then later forget all about it. Thank you for the advice I'm going to give that a try and see how I go, I may find it easier to write about things this way :)

Yes internet and books for me. If a lot of places are saying the same thing then I'll come to the conclusion that it is true until proven otherwise.

But where do you get the sources for your research? From the internet? Can we trust the internet that much? I guess we need to do some research in the library as well.

With too much information which are already being published in the internet, it is really hard to create a new one. As you can see, most articles you see in the internet are recycled, the ideas are being used over and over again, they just changed the sentence construction but the essence or the thoughts are the same. But my way is this, if there is a certain topic I want and it is already published many times, what I do is I add additional information that is not present in others article in that way it is still unique or I add more features to make my article more understandable so it can stood up from others. Creating a unique article takes time because you need to research but it is worth. So I hope I helped you and good luck.

Yeah that is a huge issue as well things I'd write about are already on the internet. Everything imaginable is on there but I do read on the internet and books and try to put all the good and relevant info together in one place to try and make it better :)

I guess you can start by writing what you find familiar and what you know most about! Like something that you are really interested in, and many people do not know about it. Well, motivation can come from extrinsic values, like money.. so keep going! All the best!

Thanks, after I wrote this I may have just thought of something to write about, so typical. Now I just need to motivate myself a lottle more and just do it. Buy MyLot is distracting me which isn't such a bad thing I guess :)

Sometime this is the same problem for many writers. Many times writers just reached to out of idea, where they can't think about any good more topic to write. Even I have faced it many times. I suggest you to think about subject you like.. I mean I am more interested related to technology stuff, so whenever I think about it, somehow I found one topic.... If you are think about topic from your interest related subject, it will be easy to found one.

Yeah I try doing that but sometimes just come up blank strangely. I'm not much of a writer I suppose otherwise I'd have plenty to write about. I'm going to try write things down that interest me and see if I can come up with something :)
