Junk food!

hey guys are you fond of having junk foods? I really love to have junk foods but i keep it restricted to only 1 or 2 days a week. Do you really have any such desire for junk foods like me? i would love to hear from you all.

Junkfood? I am not a fan of junkfood in fact I consider it as my enemy and would not allow my family to partake. But children are oftentimes stubborn, they do get junkfood behind my back but never could they eat junkfood when I am around. I surely will scold them if I see them eating junks.

Hey thanks a ton for your response. Yeah junk food come with a host of side effects with them. Nowadays children are getting addicted to junk foods like anything. They lunch breakfast and dinner includes pizzas, burgers, pan cakes and all which are at all not good for health. What say?

Yes a lot of bad side effects such poor mental ability, sickness such as hepatitis, kiodney problems and poor eyesight. It also leads to hyperactivity which is really a thing of worry. So parents should not tolerate children. The sad thing is even the parents are addicted to junks in most cases.. Like for example hotdogs. See how many kids have hotdogs in their lunchboxes today. Bad really bad! Tsk tsk tsk!

hey thanks again for your response. Yeah it is pathetic to see even kids thronging the fast food outlets in large numbers. They have almost forgotten the aesthetic nature of home made foods and in doing so they are disrespecting their parents by large. What say?

I seldom eat junk food. But when I eat on them, I eat a lot of it. It is part of my control method for junk foods. Not eating junk foods for a long time so that when an occasion comes up with a lot of junk foods served I won't be reprimand myself to enjoy it. Also, eating junk food when you haven't eaten such for a long time already makes it more tastier and delicious.

Hey thanks a ton for your response. Ha ha ha.. I can understand how it feels when you stay away from junk foods for a long period of time. But that does not mean that you would pounce on them once you have it. See! Health is the most important priority nowadays. Only when you stay healthy then you can live life fully. So rather having it a lot after a long time, have it in parts. That would really help you. What say?

I don't know, but my concept regarding health is through variety of food being ingested. That is why I will not always eat the same kind of food every time. I will just eat them once after a while. I do believe that nutritionists lean also to the concept of variety in every meal.

Hey thanks a ton for your response again. Yeah i second your thought. Rather than having the same kind of food everytime it is better to have different varieties of food every time. Infact nutritionists should be consulted whenever there is any query regarding food intake. What say?

Luckily I am not a real big junk food eater. Once and awhile I like to eat some chips or candy but not often. Now my hubby is completely opposite. He loves candy, chips, soda, ice cream and anything else I buy for him at the store lol

Hey thanks a ton for your valuable response. yeah your are indeed lucky to have escaped the lure of having junk foods. It tempts you a ton to have it. I think you should be an example for your hubby and make sure that his junk food intake is restricted also otherwise it would hamper his health.

Yes, I really love cupcakes. They are so tempting. I love Hershey's Bars too. It just is not good for us.

Hey thanks a ton for your valuable response. Yeah i know how tempting they are! But then you have to think about your health also. I too love cupcakes but i avoid having them on a regular basis. hope you have junk foods occasionally.

Yes, I do love junk foods. I usually eat them during nights while playing my favorite computer game or if I don't have anything to do.

Hey thanks a ton for your response. Well one advise from my side. Please dont have junk foods especially when your mind is diverted as that would mean that you are unaware of the amount of junk foods that your are having. Even if you have it, include it during your dinner meal and avoid taking it in large amounts after all health is wealth. You need to take care of health also.

I do eat a good amount in sweets and fried foods. Sometimes it doesn't get me full or provide me enough nutrition.

Hey thanks a ton for your response. I strongly feel that the intake of sweets and fried foods should be restricted heavily as they have lot of fats in them. You know what! Everytime you have them, they tend to increase your appetite. So its better to have them occasionally and have some healthy delicious foods. What say?

I love junk food... I know they are not healthy, but I can't help my taste :). Of course I try to restrict them... the really junk ones, like fast food, to once per month maximum (but I love my fast food french fries and my nuggets). Others-cookies, pre-made food-2 times a week maximum.

Hey thanks a ton for your response. Yeah it is indeed very difficult to resist the tastes of junk foods but we have to restrict their intake in our diet. I really loved the way you said that you have restricted taking junk foods to once per month. That will really help you. What say?

Hey thanks a ton for your valuable response. Yeah they are indeed lip smacking delicious but then they come with a host of side effects also. It is not bad to have junk foods but it is advisable to have it at most twice in a week not more than that. There is a common saying that "What tastes good for the stomach, is bad for the health". What say ?
