Do you think its time to chance our constitution for the better? For me I think its time to change our constitution. I'm hoping that in order for trapo and corrupt politico's to be in power is to limit all politician to 6 years term. Yes 6 years term only. So from barangay tanod to president of the republic they all can serve their country once in that position. Another thing is that you can't run lower than your previous position. In short if you are a mayor now you can't run as vice mayor in the next election.

Well I think it is the right time as well but I think Pnoy's administration does not want to be taunted of trying to prolong the admin stay in power longer. There is this controversy for every administration that proposes to change the constitution that they do this to prolong their stay in power since the change in the charter could also mean that the length of stay in power could be extended because of this. I know they said that they are looking into it but it is not the priority of this administration to do it to stay safe from public criticism.

They can simply put in our constitution that no president can run again. Better yet that all politician can only occupy a public office for one term only and can't run any position that is lower than his last position. In short if you are a barangay captain you can only run as counselor in next election then vice mayor then mayor then congressman then vice governor, then governor then senator then vice president then president. In this way trapo's will be removed.

the only thing I dont like about Cha cha is the Prime minister.... We don't need to change what kind of head of state we have. I agree about abolishing the senate though, less politicians to get salaries and less pork barrels to get stolen from the people, less politicians to corrupt. Laws can be passed much more faster if we don't have a senate. I will agree with chacha but there needs to be customization, we dont need a prime minister.

Prime minister? We are not yet into federalism. We are still presidential state. Our chacha is only focus on amending some provision about foreigners that can't buy properly in our country and the 40% limits of the foreigners investments in the Philippines and also the removal of educations as the most priority in our constitution. In short if their going to be cha cha more and more investors will going to invest since Foreigner now can buy land in our country and invest in our country. Also we can priorities building our military also.
