Fried Ravioli

I just tried making fried ravioli. It came out ok. I boiled them, let them cool off, dipped in egg and bread crumb and fried. I think something was missing. Anyone have any suggestions for me? Thanks.

I agree with the other responder. You need to add some seasoning to your breading mix. Don't be afraid to be generous with it, either--except, of course, for the salt. Also, don't be tied to just the salt, pepper and Italian seasoning. Personally, I'd add in a bit of jalapeno pepper to the mixture as well as make use of some of the fresh basil that I keep getting since it is available in abundance right now here.

I love spicy food. I will try adding jalapeno to it the next time. Thanks!

I love fried ravioli. Did you season the bread crumbs? A little salt, pepper, italian seasoning, or any type of spices you may like...

I think I did not cook the ravioli long enough before breading and frying. I will have to try again.
