To all the people who are self employed, or to those who have business... What is your take on this matter? How do one company maximize profits but still upholding the common good of all people, including their competitor relationships, their employees, the people who are to be their customers? Can this go along side by side or it is less likely to be so since when you want profits you are probably thinking sense of wanting the better part to be yours, whilst sacrificing a lot of things say, employee benefits, fair price, etc. Can one really increase profits in business even if there is social awareness or does it already mean that when one wants profit he or she should be prepared to be thinking only for what will be good for the business? Any thoughts, you may have regarding companies who are socially responsible, or about companies that may seem a bit selfish as to only wants profits and not to let others gain as well?

hi roni, thank you for your response. I believe that when a company indeed is true to the values they have set from the start, they are not to lose their way with every decision and with their need for profits.

Hi friend, i am doing my own business and giving my utter most to improve my business in various ways I have some helpers(employees) to help me, i never consider them as my worker and think them as my helpers and giving a lot of importance to them. They are considering my company as their own concern and working hard to improve it, always i give a good percentage to them in my profit, it made them to work with more eagerness and improve my company's quality. Customer satisfaction is our motto and giving the best service to gain them permanently. If we are selfish, our workers don't help us, if we consider about their welfare. They will give their utter most to our concern to improve it

Thank you vidhya for your quick response. A friend of mine is doing a research on this matter, actually and thought of what could be the people's take on the issue of businesses and their interests. We actually see it very common nowadays that more and more companies are focused on their own profits rather than earnings. Believe it or not, it is hard to find a good and stable job so a lot of companies have taken this as opportunity to maximize man power but give them less than what they can be getting because for sure, these companies are earning quite well and they have expanded too. Medium and Small businesses i think like yours will have more concern for the people as opposed to the larger ones perhaps because the interaction between the employer and employee is more direct thus, they are heard more?
