In a rush to get somewhere?

This past weekend was Canada Day long weekend. I had to work which meant driving back and forth from petsitting, to home, to work and so on. I found numerous cars passing illegally, just not paying attention, dangerously driving at high speeds, and so on. There were loads of cops sitting out to nail many for these but I couldn't believe how they were driving and irratically. I personally want to get to my destination alive doesn't matter how long it takes me. I give myself extra time and most times my bosses know and understand. I just can't understand these people, and their reasoning especially with their family in the cars or putting others in danger just to get there faster.

It constantly amazes me how people drive too. Not just during holidays but especially during holidays. I can't understand why everyone has to be in such a rush. Why not just be a couple of minutes late due to traffic? Vacations are supposed to be more of a relaxed time anyway. I would rather arrive safe too.

That is so sad, I think we must drive for us and also thinking about the others. It's really insensitive of one to be driving for example and enjoy the party drinking as well, we have to be more conscious in what we do, if we are in a rush we must remember everyone else is too, a child could be crossing the streets as well.

Putting yours and others lives in danger just to save a few minutes of travel time is not worth it to me either. It is just plain stupid! The other day I saw a motorcycle cut it close passing 2 cars on the highway. I was thinking I was going to see a car hit him head on but thankfully I didn't. People need to just relax and realize we can't be in a hurry all the time especially on the road

Me too, I like to drive at low speed and get to the destination safe.
I hate it when I have to stop or slow down to let the mad drivers pass by my car.
You know what I observed? In a crowded traffic, those who drive in high speed don't get to their destination faster. It happened to me many times to be in this situation. I noticed a particular car that had passed by in high speed and when we got to the destination, that car was not too far in front of us.
