Blowing Bubbles

I remember as a kid blowing bubbles was very cool and fun. I would take a little swimming pool, fill it with soapy water, then bend a wire hanger in a circle. Then I would dip it in, and make huge bubbles. Such great memories surrounding bubbles. What are your memories with bubbles?

used to love blowing bubbles with my kids when they were younger. that is one thing i really have loved to do and would still love to do but my daughters are 15 and 19 (a little past the bubble blowing age). guess i will have to wait til i have grand kids.
i love the big bubbles!

It seems that you used to be a kid with scientific mind.:P
While i was a kid , i had no idea what to do in order to expand the bubble size. Yet i managed to make quite a good quantity of bubbles in my childhood.
I possessed a tiny insulated wire ring attached to a straight small pipe .One had to put that into his mouth and blow air outwards. The ring which was soaked in soapy water used to produce bubbles filled with air.
This puts an end to the story now.:-)

Well when I was a kid, my sister and I would play with the shampoo and our hands to make bubbles. Our fingers would be the substitute for your wire hanger. Hehe. I like the nostalgic feeling.
Now that I am older, what I do is follow the bubbles the young kids are blowing in the park.
