This year, Roger is playing better than last two years in tennis showing that he is still be a top contender for top spot.He was 2nd best before the just concluded French Open which Nadal won to become the 2nd best player again. I knew that Roger might pass through Novak. Roger is showing great promises again. Can he rise up to be the world No 1 Tennis player again before he retires?

Roger did it. He has proved critics wrong. Roger will remain in the top flight for some more years to come.

I really hope he can be and can win a few more grand slams before he retires. I love Federer. I saw a bit of last nights match, he's playing pretty well :)

Not being a Federer fan, I would prefer that he not be number one again. Of the three contenders, I prefer Novak. I would like to see some new men competing for the top spot, however.

Roger made it again, Novak is now 2nd. I was ever looking forwarding to him clinching back that spot he held for years even in the midst of Novak and Nadal. No new yet to go through for now. In the top four, a US citizen.

It so happens in tennis and even in other sports that sometimes a top player is outplayed by other top players for a few season, but, just sometime before retirement, that player gets better, and starts winning more and more again. May be this is what is happening with Roger Federer. He can win at Wimbledon, but will have to overcome stiff challenges ahead. Let us see how he fares.

He's the best ever player on earth by the way he's capable of playing spectacular tennis.....will he become nr 1 again? I do not believe so....but at that age and with that tennis passion he will certainly stay among the best 4 still quite sometime

And Roger Federer made back to the top 1 again. I very delighted at this feat that he achieved. He has cemented his name in the book as the greatest tennis player in history. I saw it coming but I was not sure he was going to clinch it. Congrats Roger
