Ive been putting things up on Ebay for a month now and selling nothing. Even when I took the price down. Then suddenly, I sold something that really surprised me. I like to wear scrub blouses as ive said before. I often pick them up at Goodwill and stores like that. I picked up this pretty red Hello Kitty shirt for about $3. But it was snug on me and I like them roomy. So I put it on ebay for $5. Couple days later it was sold for $15. plus postage I had no idea Hello Kitty things were so popular. Did you know about this? Know about any other things popular on ebay? ever make a profit like that?

Yes ms. Bon Im very fond of hello kitty, this is my childhood dream to have a complete stuff of hello kitty. I saw it from one of my childhood playmate that is rich, I saw lots of hello kittystuf from head to foot even her room. I saw her recently and I was surprised to saw that even her car was also hello kitty design. Unfortunately Im just enjoy seeing all that and no chance to buy. But now even at my age I still love it. I have a little collection of hello kitty.

Yes I did Ms. Bon actually now a days we have lots of imitation hello kitty store that I think was made from Korea. And it cost cheaper than the original one. And I enjoy that I have a pair of bag and wallet.

Hello Kitty hat - This is my daughter's favorite Hello Kitty hat. Well... one of them, at least. We had to buy three identical ones because she loved the first one so much!
Oh, yes, Hello Kitty is really popular! My two-year-old loves Hello Kitty. When we took the side off her crib and converted it to a toddler bed I wanted to buy her a new sheet set to celebrate. I saw a really cute Hello Kitty toddler bed set at Target. It came with a pillow case, one fitted and one flat sheet, and a cute little comforter. I thought the price (about $35) was a bit too steep, so I went home and found it online. Every single seller I found online wanted at least twice what Target was charging for it in the store! Suddenly Target's price didn't seem so unreasonable after all... I have to say that I've gone to some pretty crazy lengths to get Hello Kitty things for my daughter. We found an adorable Hello Kitty bucket hat at Walmart. She fell in love with it to the point where she refused to take it off at bedtime. I couldn't even borrow it for an hour to wash it! I went back to buy a second one but the local store was completely sold out. We ended up stopping at five or six other stores across the state before we found one that had a few in stock. I bought two more so she can have one to wear if I need to wash another!

Hello Kitty has always been a hot item. Some other items are old Halloween items too, like the crank toys, any Dennison Halloween items, postcards, old books, plus Owls. Halloween stuff sells all year long because people love that holiday so much. Also, old Christmas items too. I've been selling on Ebay for many years. I normally sell antique/vintage postcards. I bought a postcard once for $.50 and it ended up selling for $29.00. That was a thrill for me and it took me completely by surprise.

Ive sold on ebay before . Very few and far between. I have a bunch of stuff that i used to sell at our local flea market. New stuff that is too good to sell for a garage sale. Ive listed some on ebay in the past. Yesterday i got a email from ebay saying i can list some stuff for free until the 17th so i plan to take advantage of that. soon as i get home from work today im going to list some stuff. I have everything photographed since i dont have a auto to take the stuff to the flea market.

Oh yes..that Hello Kitty stuff is really hot. I know alot of my daughter's friends were collecting and decorating stuff in Hello Kitty for a while. Some of the older cartoon stuff is making a huge comeback. I would say that the latest trends are also the comic book heroes they have been redoing movies of too. Oh and romantic vampire stuff...I know it's crazy but that Twilight has caused quite the trend and there are several tv series and movies that have tried to copy it in one way or another.

Oh yes, they are super popular. My sister even collects Hello Kitty stuff, and now that she is adopting a little girl, they have gone even more nuts. She has a Hello Kitty toaster, Hello Kitty slippers, Hello Kitty backpack for the baby's items, and for 'A''s first birthday they had a Hello Kitty birthday cake.

Good for u, bon. I haven't sold anything on ebay since i sold my antique store but use to do quite well in there. The best deal i ever got on ebay , i had bought a marble staue from a girl that came in the store wanting to sell it. Iask her how much she wanted for her & she said make me an offer. Of course i started low & said i'll give u $25 for it & to my surprise she took it. I put it on ebay & it brought $2000.

I don't sell things on eBay. I do know, however, that Hello Kitty is wildly popular. Who doesn't love Hello Kitty? She's just too cute! Okay, I know that there are have been some criticisms, but most people find her to be cute and innocuous.

yes very cute. when i found the blouse, i was so happy for it. look at the color its just beautiful. and nearly new. then i discovered id gained weight and so many including this one dont fit any more but who knew i could get money like that for it. turned my frown upside down.

I did actually know that Hello Kitty items were very popular, in fact there are several big box stores that have a dedicated Hello Kitty area and my nine-year-old daughter as well as my five-year-old niece are addicted to Hello Kitty. With that said, the thing that really surprised me when I was selling things on Ebay was the fact that a five pound box of old computer junk (processors, memory sticks and other things like that which were obsolete) sold for nearly $100.

My husband said that the reason that the stuff sold for as much as it did was because processors and also memory sticks have gold in them and with gold prices being up the way that they are right now, people will pay for this so that they are able to melt the gold down and sell it to make even more money.

I do know that Hello Kitty is very popular, although I really am not sure why it is so popular. In fact, we were having this discussion about a week or so ago at a child's birthday party. We all remember Hello Kitty being around for a long time, but none of us really knew how it all started. We couldn't remember there being a cartoon show or comic strip or anything like that about it, which is how many cartoon characters become so popular, so we were thinking that perhaps it was just a marketing image that just really took off and became popular.

I have a niece who loves Hello Kitty (she is 7 years old). Her room is Hello Kitty and she wants me to make her a Hello Kitty quilt. I am looking for a Hello Kitty quilting kit so I can make one for her. I will have to check out Hello Kitty on Ebay and see what I can find. I know Hello Kitty is very popular.

I saw a Hello Kitty quilt set at WalMart not very long ago. It was a complete do-it-yourself pack, but I can't remember how much it cost. It was in the crafts section, though. If you do not find what you are looking for on E-bay or they want to much money for it, then you might try checking at WalMart or a similar kind of store in your area.

Hello kitty things are pretty expensive especially if they are genuine. There are a lot of fake hello kitty merchandise on the market but the real ones are pretty expensive. This is the reason why your customer bought it for fifteen dollars. These novelty items are really popular because they look so lovely and adorable. I also like wearing fancy hello kitty charm bracelets! Haven't tried ebay yet since I use Amazon.

I know that Hello Kitty is popular, even or especially with young adults. I have never tried to sell anything on E Bay, perhaps I should look into it. I think Happy Bunny might also get those profits for you. My dad has a neighbor that had Hello Kitty face put on the side of her car .. . I guess you would call it a small suv.

Hi, Bunnybon, this is really amazing! I didn't knew that hello kitty things were so popular but I'm not surprised. My daughter is passionate about cats, maybe sometimes she thinks that she is a cat, lol. Indeed there is something in these animals. Maybe that's why hello kitty things are popular. Any way, congrats for the good deal!
