I only started my blog last February. The main reason was actually to earn more money but then i really got tired of trying to make money out of it as i know i am not a popular person who would have many followers lol plus i guess i got lucky as i joined a blog where they would rather promote the quality of the blog rather than the number of traffic it can generate.. i am referring to wordpress..
anyways i am glad i stick around and tried my best to update my blog as much as possible. This morning when i logged in i found out someone nominated me for a blog award in wordpress. yipee!
it feels great because i love writing, i may not be the best but then this is something too.

Congrats jazel,i love writing too and now i manage my several blog with wordpress too.What is your name of blog, we can share sometime or visit each other.I'm still newbie and never get nominated.Just have fun and maybe someday want to make extra money from my blog.I realize that to have a lot of reader we have to promote and content is important.

I have not made any other effort to bring more traffic to my blog ifa as it is tiring, i would rather leave it and still continue to write...people will eventually stumble upon it.

wooow... congratulation, jazel. It's right, this is something, that courage you to write more and keep posting on blog or wordpress, even that's not easy to earn with blog. I've been almost one year on blogging and earn little. Even so, I keep write and write, may because of my passion is on it, but hopefully I can earn well from my blog someday...

that's right, more traffic should more opportunity to earn, that's the thing that we need to learn. is that such a proud to earn from our hobby such as writing a blog??

That's great. Congratulations! I started blogging in March (I think) last year. I gained only a handful of followers. Traffic was slow. I got tired and focused more on HubPages where I got more traffic and followers. Anyway, after a few months, my blog was nominated by one of my followers. I was really thrilled. My problem was I had to nominate about 12 bloggers. I had spent more time on HubPages so I didn't know much bloggers. I published the entry about my nomination but the list of bloggers whom I nominated is still incomplete. After that, I got a few more nominations from another blogger, meaning, I have to make a few more lists! I started looking for blogs to follow. It was really tough to look for blogs that are similar to mine. A lot of the blogs I follow are no longer active.

I focus on only one blog. i tried making several ones but i failed as i cannot concentrate therefore i made one where it is kinda multi purpose.. lol infact with doing that i was able to have several followers now.

mine was more multi purpose..just anything and everything under the sun, i find it hard to focus on just one subject as my world revolves into a lot of things..

I shouldn't have made several blogs all at once. It was really difficult to keep all of them updated. I just thought that a blog should just focus on one subject, that's why my blogs are very specific. My main blog (which is my personal blog) has the most traffic (although it's still not impressive LOL). Now, I'm trying to write articles that would link my main blog to my other blogs so they would gain more traffic.

wow! that's great. I used to blog too and indeed it is very enjoyable. especially if you like the topic that you are writing about. sometime when you think of revenue it makes blog writing frustrating but by forgetting about making money out of it, you find happiness in writing

Well, first of all, congratulations! It is not easy to get such nomination considering that number of blogs out there. Although making money from blogs is not that easy and there is no shortcut. But certainly you are on your way to such. So just keep on going and do what you do best, you will surely earn later on and when it starts, it will continue. Keep up the good work and best always!

Earning in a blog really sounds great jpso but then i guess i tend to keep it more like how it is now, no earnings i guess as i also do not have that much time to keep up with it. But i love blogging now and i get to share things and meet new people too. I could not believe there are so many people blogging.

i actually do not do anything now to generate traffic lol i just write and share what i feel like sharing, mostly things happening to me.. and i guess what makes it wonderful is that wordpress do share your blog to other people.. i also share my blog posts on facebook.
