Do you view profiles of those who post comments on a discussion you started?

Frankly, I don't get to view everyone's profiles. Especially, when I get to be too engrossed in posting discussions and comments. Also, especially now that MyLot seems to be having some tech problems. It takes long to load and whenever I try opening a discussion, it requires me to wait a few minutes. :( I even experienced a TIME OUT. But, I think it is important to view profiles since the aim of MyLot is not solely for us to earn money but also to make friends worldwide. What do you think?

Hi, Sharksfin, I don't look at everyone's profiles but I do it when I'm particularly interested about a posting. It's good to know the age or whether the user is a male or a female to understand better what he/she wants to say. Sometimes when I see a profile I decide to make a friend request. Most of the times I can make this fast enough but sometimes it takes more time. Have a nice time.

Oh, you're interested in understanding people and why they think the way they do. It's nice. :)

Why should we see the profile. There is no need for that.We are posting they are commenting. In this way itself we both are making communication. If a good post is made any person will answer for that one.If a person continueously making good post then only the idea of to watch profile will arise lightly.

I did this once. I didn't view for the first comments this person posted until I noticed that the person is posting really sensible ones.

It depends. I haven't been around myLot for a very long time, but i was very active for a long time and did a LOT of posting and replying. Because of that, I didn't take the time to visit all of them, there were too many. If something caught my eye in their comment, or something about their name, I did visit their profile to learn more. I couldn't have done that with everyone, though, or I wouldn't have had time to post a thing. Like I said, I was VERY active for a time.

We have the same experience, then. :) And same with me, if a comment gave an impression, I would take time to know who posted it. :)

If I have seen an answer to my post from an unknown member, I would view the profile. Sometimes, because the answer is interesting, I would do the same.

Same here. If the comment given appeals to me, I'd take a moment to know whose idea was it from by checking the profile. Sometimes, even if the comment isn't so nice, if the name sounds attractive, I'll also make time.

We can know a respondent or commentators through what he or she posts. So its needless to view his or her profile. Yet a good post provokes us a bit curious for what else he has anything good in any of his or her website. Our words are our highest reflection.

I agree. It's also the same as when you met someone for the very first time. When they talk sense, you'd like to get to know them better. But, if they rather talk b***, you just wanna ignore and stay far away from. :) Sorry for the harshness.

Hi friend, some times i will check the profile of the person whoever give the good and best replies to my topic. If i impressed with a reply, i will take a look at the profile to know more about the person and send a friendship request to him to keep in touch with that quality person

hmmm...so you don't only view but you also add them as your friend. That's nice. Thanks.

sharksfin Yes/No. It is because where the member is of same age, likes and dislikes - I may be tempted to verify about profile. Otherwise normally no.
