Im having fried mushrooms with perogies for breakfast. Never fails when I go grocery shopping I never buy breakfast type foods. I bought a few containers of mushrooms, and been cravings them lately. I put a tiiny bit of oil with salt, pepper, garlic, and montreal steak spice. While I was boiling the perogies then use the same oil, and seasoning on the perogies. I dip my perogies in sour cream and I absolutely love them.

Mmm that sound's really good! I love perogies. I normally make them for dinner. I too enjoy them with sour cream. Now the fried mushrooms with the perogies is a must try for me. :)... I also don't pick up many breakfast items while grocery shopping. I don't eat cereal, but my son goes batty over pancakes. Thanks for the dinner idea!

Hmm... I've been thinking about trying my hand at making pierogies. I've never made them from scratch before. Now, I'm getting hungry. Oh, the dangers of reading posts about food... I think that I'll have to go have lunch soon.

I discovered pieroles thanks to you in a post I just read. I`m doing some search now, and see if I can add pieroles as part of my meals. I`m trying to understand all about them. Are they made with a flour dough?

Though I really don't know that this would be something that I would want to eat for breakfast, it doesn't sound like something that would be bad at all to eat right about now. I do buy a lot of breakfast food when I go to the grocery store but that is only because of the fact that I have the two children that require breakfast in the morning. If it was up to my husband and myself, we wouldn't ever have anything for breakfast food because neither of us are breakfast eaters.
