Why people are so interested in reporting glitches?

If people were really interested in reporting the glitches then they would/should use the "contact" link at the bottom of the page to report it directly to myLot. By starting multiple repeated topics about the same glitches over and over again day after day they are wasting their own and everyone else's time because those topics are deleted along with any earnings that they might have produced. If I find a glitch that myLot might be unaware of then I first check in a PM with another Lotter to make sure it is not just me experiencing it and then I report it directly, if others have not already done so. We have PMs for these events and it is there that we can ask others (as many do to me) if they have the same problem.

Hi Wonderboy I am agree with MysD above. It will not decrease or solve the problem. I guess users already have discussed about all glitches currently going on. So any more discussion related to it will be surely deleted by admin.... That means they already know about it, so we just need to wait for that day on which admin will solve all these... Anymore discussion related to it will only increase the admin's work of deletion discussions.

what do you intend if there is a problem people should not talk about that ?

thewonderboy: Yes. we bring out the discussion so that other members are informed about the same and they need not spend too much time worrying about it. also another intention is to solve the glitches early. good day.

Hello Boy, Even i also have seen whenever there is a glitch there is "n" number of discussions started about it.This shows we don't read discussions and start discussions of our own when we see some error here or we don't get an idea to start a new discussion.

wb, this kind of reports will help others as well as admin to know about the issue, people create this kind of topics to know whether it is only for them or others also suffered with this kind of problems. But some times it is annoying while seeing same kind of topics again and again, some persons create the same topic without knowing other mylotter already created the topic. Most probably this kind of topics are deleted by admin.

hi thewonderboy Many p eople also forget that only one of the discussions on the glitches will get posted, why? because most of us still are not reading the guidelines, the dos and do nots of making a discussion namely duplicate discussions will be guess what folks? deleted. so we must all enjoy seeing notifications telling us your discussion has been deleted for being a duplicate of umpty nine others. yes we all want the glitches taken care of but if 243,441 of us all post this same discussion about the glitches, admins will be so busy deleting discussions the glitches will not soon be remedied okay so I am being a bit silly here, but still after seeing all the other discussions I did not want to get mine deleted so did not add to it. admins does know they have glitches so why keep telling them over and over? its overkill folks.

I think it's not about reporting, but complaining or sharing to other mylotters. That is why most of the topics that contain about glitches are likely to be deleted due to duplication...like what happened when mylot was down for few days. So many topics came up, not with same title but with almost same content... Maybe some mylotters are too excited to share what is happening or want to know who are experiencing the same...

I still have glitches because under my profile it is not keeping log of the questions I answer and blogs I answer. I am trying to 5 a day and I like to look back in my profile to make sure they count. It keeps saying I have not answered any questions in last 60 days...which I have! Plus I have HTML links on my profile page I was hoping by now they would of came back... which they have not so I have to all those all over again they were not easy to do! I was hoping with upgrades and mylot power outage they would restore everything. I really hope they starting show wich blogs I answered and which questions I answered too! Thanks unique16

the more people now the glitches, the more people will report it to the admin and the more faster it will be repaired :)

Maybe this is completely wrong but yesterday I was one of those reporting a glitch. And my discussion was deleted without explanation. Although the same day I was relieved when I saw a discussion about another glitch and I learned that I was not alone having this trouble. I think that the discussions are the fastest way to understand an important news and so they are helpful. But to avoid multiple discussion on the same topic maybe it's good to have a special tab, named "myLot news" and go there when we want to get informed about all the important things here.

hehehe, i haven't reported any glitch yet, i have no idea to report it also...however i appreciate any glitches reporting because i can know and avoid it if i can...

Hello! When there is a glitch and I get errors, I would like to know if other users in the site have the same problem. So I think it's nice to report it and see if there is a general glitch on the system, or if it's just me! Also, administrators get noticed about the problems that we may face when logging in or when we're trying to post. That's why I think it's useful to discuss glitches, in my opinion it's both for the administrators and the users.

I don't know how to report glitches and I am afraid also.My language is so poor,the admin may kick me from this site.So I am staying low,for now.I will be more confident reporting glitches,if and when my language improves.Its really shameful to report,with broken language,right!!

Hello thewonderboy I think people should report glitches if they come across them so that it can be fixed as soon as possible and not affect more people. It may not be resolved immediately as the moderators/developers of the site may be currently fixing other problems but they would be able to start investigating the problem once other work is done. Glitches can have a lot of major consequences if not fixed properly.

maybe they just want to share about this with other members so every user can be aware that my lot is having glitches and there is no need to worry about it it is good sometimes to share as ong as you don't complain about this

It helps us all enjoy our stay here. Who likes experiencing glitches here? I don't think there is one who does. So, we have to be thankful to all those who are reporting these glitches so we can all have a great stay here after admin as fixed it.
