Ok, details please. Was this a one time and/or momentary thing today? What were you doing when this occurred, commenting, responding to? Or starting a discussion?

How often would you say it occurs? Is there a discernible pattern to it? Is it only when a certain activity is going on (commenting, responding or staring a discussion)? I know these seem like dumb questions but IT likes me to bring as much information as I can to them when I report an issue. These are all questions they will likely ask.

I don't know if my observations are any accurate, but whenever I get that sort of message, I suspect it's either when the myLot admin are about to or in the midst of doing some upgrading/maintenance work on the site, or the myLot site is having some issues with the server. 
I just dislike it when all they tell you is to modify your text, but don't exactly tell you what is wrong with your text and what exactly is the thing that's causing the response not to go through. Normally what I do when I encounter that "error" is to close the browser window and reopen it, then try to repost. If that doesn't help, I try again in a couple of minutes or hours. Hope you are able to pull through this ordeal......

Oooh, not a very good thing to let slip to the myLot members! But well, I for one don't really mind if they require external help, as long as they make sure the site runs optimally with minimal issues and bugs.

hi petersum I lost four responses last night due to those damned messages then one said unable to post content please try again,.
trying " yes trying as in I am losing my marbles here mylot
help us all before we all frigging go bananas,. and seein
a herd of us lead by me and petersum running in circles'

over and over again."
this is not funny at all, believe me as its given me sleepless nights and wondering when is all this going to be over.

the message has appeared to me before I even posted anything, I'd just hit the respond to discussion button. I still responded and went through piece of cake. Is it showing up like this for you, or like it normally does, when you've already posted your content?

i know, mylot has been acting up for weeks already and it is pretty annoying. sorry mylot but sometimes, it is a waste of time and effort

I've had that come up before I've even posted content! I was still able to get the response to go through..
but mylot needs to do some vaccuming and dusting!

Peter, that's exactly the same problem that i had been facing since the time Mylot down and arise again. That's why, you can me only spending time posting in other member's discussion. But, i am unable to comment back at my own discussion.

Hi,
I also had same problem while posting and commenting on my discussions responses. I patiently type again and again and at last I become successful in posting. Be patient. there may be some technical problem on mylot.
