Katie Stars in a Film about Single Mother

She co-wrote this movie and now the lead for it. The plot of the movie Molly is about the life of a single mother raising her daughter alone.
Is she immitating her life in this film? Is her split to her husband a career move rather than anything else?
I don't know.. Is this selfishness?

Well it's hard to say because you don't know how long ago she wrote it. They just split up not too long ago. And production is going to be done fairly quick, next month. So who knows. If I were her as soon as I found out what a freak he is I would have been writing this script.
I think she was a naive immature child when she married him and has since grown up. I used to love him until the day he said he found the love of his life in her. Which I think was totally insensitive to Nicole and Mimi even. But he was more interested in making a fool out of himself by couch jumping and gaining publicity than to think about Nicole's feelings.

I guess you're right that maybe the time they got married Katie was still naive and swept by the person she thought her prince charming since she was very honest saying that Tom Cruise was her ultimately crush and wanted to marry him when she was just a young one.

Well, she could appoint herself to star in a movie if she was one of the people that co-wrote the movie and perhaps the reason that she is choosing to star in the movie is because of the fact that it is now something that is going to become a reality in her life.
With that said, I don't think that her divorce from Tom Cruise is a career move, I really believe that it was something that was inevitable.
