I read somewhere that slamdunk was the most annoying anime that person has watched do you really feel slam dunk was an annoying anime in my opinion it was good a different story based on sports and i learnt many things about basket ball yo.

I am a fan of slamdunk too. My daughter likes it too. I don`t think its annoying, maybe it just became realistic in a way that people don`t want to watch it anymore. Season one is good but the ending especially in the manga, which is not yet telecast is kinda disappointing. Season one is my favorite because its not yet serious. The season two is more of like focusing in their career as an international basketball player. Like you i have also learned a lot in this anime. It gives us basketball tips, reality of life and a funny story

I read about it in a certain article. My wife bought me a manga from japan and unfortunately, it was nihonggo. I have heard that it was also available now in America. I have heard from the sources that the director have after the season 1 so sad.I too was looking forward to season 2 anyways where i can get the manga.

I have never seen it. I actially have not seen anime, but my friend Thor really likes anime and seems to think the art in fantastic as well. I do admire the art, but have never really gotten into the themes an plots. It sounds interesting, as I never had heard of a sports anime either. Maybe I might someday watch this, but I really am into other kinds of movies when it comes to the art type. Heavy Metal was one of my favorites. I like the art of boris Valejo the most and like that kind of fantastical DRAGON type theme and PEGASUS and WARRIOR type art. I would love to se more of that kind.
Thor told me once that there was magic in anime, but I never understood what he meant.

Slam dunk one of the best sport manga so far.
Maybe your friend don't like it because it made in 90's.
the quality of the picture so poor.
My favorite character sakuragi hamanichi.
