Can anyone explain Squidoo to me? I write for other sites but would like to write for more. Does anyone have any advice on this site for me please?

It is also like other revenue sharing sites. Write, publish, get traffic and earn.

Hey there, in Squidoo you choose the topic you want and basically you blog in there, you can blog about a movie carachter while your next squidoo be about a book, and the next about a brand you tested. It's very different from blogging and in a way a great solution for people that created thousands of blogs and ended up leaving them, in Squidoo you just don't leave them because once the article is done or you want to continue it by giving updates it's up to you, so the many subjects are the many blogs you have and it's less preassure cause when you leave a blogspot people look up your last post date and never come back, now if your squidoo is good they can keep track on you, figuring you and them have the same interest.

Make articles about anything(what is allowed on there terms anyway). They pay by views via paypal. They also pay in commissions if you use their amazon widgets.

No you don't need it. I use them before but I didn't really like it. They forced you to participate in the community for your articles to be seen in search engines.

Squidoo is cool. I am a member there. But i have not been active. I have many sites I work with and the time factor keeps me away. It is sort of like Triond I guess where you create what they call a lens and promote it. It is basically like a blog where you can write about whatever you want to as long as it is within the guidelines. I have not made money there because like I said, I just don't have the time to spend there. But I am seriously thinking about going back. I like the site.
