Dear friends Mylotters. I know perfectly well that what I am about to write, to many of you seem really strange. I, you must know, I do not watch TV hardly ever! Not that I hold a particular grudge against this appliance. The fact is that, although sometimes transmit any program that might be of interest to me, I prefer to get me any note and maybe watch it later on DVD. I do not feel that is why a person "outside the lines." Only the news, I follow it by force as during meals, my family watch it. This to me is also helpful to keep me informed of events happening. What do you think? You judge me weird?

No, it isn't weird at all. I rarely watch TV, not even a DVD. I guess I have too much going on, and can be more productive online than to sit and watch TV. One exception is the Olympics that is coming up, and even then I'll only watch certain sports..

Okay, this is going to sound dumb, but I have to ask. You said, "European Football Championship" is that what Americans call "soccer"? Because I love soccer, but I am not able to watch it because I only have the most basic cable..:(

Not weird at all, I rarely watch TV myself. There have been a few shows that have captured my interest on occasion but other than that I largely ignore it. I do watch quite a few movies on DVD, perhaps one or two a week. There really aren't a whole lot of television shows that I like. I'm not one for reality TV, I hate crime-shows, and I'm just not a fan of dramas. The shows I do watch on TV when I watch them tend to be fantasy or animated.

No that is not weird. I watch maybe 5 hours of TV a week during summer. I would rather be outside or traveling than wasting my time watching TV. During the winter I watch a few more hours of TV a week but not much more. I always feel like I can be doing something that is more worth while

Well, in fact, in this regard by leisure hours that I normally may spend watching TV, I usually devote myself to the computer.

No, I don't find it weird that you choose not to watch television hardly ever. I think you should be admired and congratulated for not watching so much television. I just watch the news too. I think it really is important to keep informed. I cancelled my cable service a few months ago and had an attenna and digital converter box set up so I can get free over the air t.v.

Neither do I, I stopped 3-4 years ago. Lately I have stopped watching movies, got bored. I choose living life than watching other people's life.
