Cleansing Diet or Fruit diet

I'm in my three days of cleansing diet or fruit diet. I learned it from my father just to detoxify my body to stay healthy and to cure some illnesses. These past few days I felt that I had a high level of uric acid and I thought that it's been four years that I never cleansed my body. If you haven't eaten fruit and vegetables on a regular basis and you start to eat a lot of fruit, your body will detoxify itself first. Fruit can be used to help your body detoxify. The best way of doing this is not to eat anything but fruit until noon. Till that time your body is still busy detoxifying from the night before. Now you know why people always drink freshly squeezed orange- or grapefruit juice in the morning. After this I know I'll be more healthier and sexier.

I am also fond of fruits. I can eat fruit for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. When my room mate is away I come from office and eat some fruits and go to bed. i don't feel like cooking for myself. Hence eating fruits is easy short cut. :D

Oh, really sis?? This is my first time heard of this thing called cleansing/fruit diet. So no other food than fruit till noon?? If that's all it takes then it's easy, I can do it. Thank you for it!

Not only till noon but the whole day for 3 to 5 days as long as you can. You can eat raw vegetables and honey for your sweet.

This is always some interesting News, and I know that if you do eat a lot of Fruits they can help as healing agents for a lot of different things. Also drinking a lot of water and flushing out some of the radicals will help a lot as well. The main issue though for me since I am diabetic as a lot of Fruits will really spike my Sugar level so I need to be careful what I do for sure.

i have read about this when i was in my fruit detoxifying craze moments lol and yes i do agree with this at the first few days you will also feel your stomach grumbling and you going to the cr as often as possible lol but after that you will feel light and the stomach not bloated which i like. reminds me to go through it again.

Lyn, i ever tried this way of detoxify using fruits. At first it is quite hard to adjust our new way of eating. After the second day, i slowly got the like to consume fruits. I ate fruits as my breakfast for 5 days, every few months once. I see that my skin complexion had improved quite a lot. I learned this method from one of my close friends. she said that when our body contained too much toxic, it can harm our skin complexion as well. Indeed, eating and drinking fruit juice early in the morning is good only i am unable to accept it as my long-term breakfast regime.

Honestly, I can say that I've never tried to do a detoxifying diet in my life, but I do believe that it would be something that would be good for everyone in our family. With that said, though many parents have a hard time with their children getting them to eat their fruits and vegetables, this has never been something that I've had a problem with concerning my children. I honestly believe that I could keep both of them fed on fruits and vegetables alone.

You can put it in a blender and mix it so they will not see whats in it just put honey not sugar because it has also chemicals.

You are right about that. Lately I have been drinking whole orange juice, by putting everything except the peel in my blender and mixing it with ice smooth and thick. Yums. The white part of the orange is bitter but that is where all the bioflavins live and they are so healthy. I love icy drinks and they seem to be more naturally sweet with the ice shaved like snow. Mmmmm.

This is a good info. What I recommend you on how to reduce uric acid it to avoid the source. Seeds and beans are high in uric acid as well as coconut products which includes coconut milk is also high in uric acid.

I know some people who does that during the summer. They stay a month or 20 days eating only fruits and drinking tea. I know it cleans the body and it's healthy, but honestly I wouldn't be able to do it myself. Last autumn we were eating lots of salads, simple ones - every night one cabbage with cucumber and carrots, also fresh lemon juice. I would say I felt really great at that time. My energy was much higher, even for a smoker. I would prefer eating vegetables instead of fruits. I feel like eating fruits only will keep me hungry all the time.

Same like you...I practiced to eat the right kinds of foods that help detoxify my body like eating the right kind of fruits and vegetables.As much as possible I also do drink lots of water as it really do cleanses our body.Sometimes I also drink some milk and fruit beverages.Eating variety and proper kinds of foods will keep us in shape and always keep us healthy by our own choice of lifestyle.

When I'm reading 50 shades of Grey I always heard of the Orange juice thing in the morning and I think that's really a fresh revitalizing and antioxidant we have to intake daily. It will make you stay fit all the day and when I try for a week now its just also work for me.

nice! after i read an article regarding the wonders of green apple, where it can remove gallstones, I make sure that I eat an apple early morning and once I go to bed. :)

Eat fresh fruit instead of drinking fruit juice.You can try apple juice,cranberry grope and orange juice.It keep health good and fit.
