Hi mylotters, I think most Filipinos knows EAT BULAGA a long time running noon time show in Philippine television they still have they charm of giving a laughter in every home every afternoon. I am one of their avid fan I grow up watching them me and my sister love this show as much as possible we don't want to miss the show everyday. This week they was announcing about Eat Bulaga in Indonesia I thought they just visit that country with the Filipino community there, But as I read at yahoo news An Indonesia TV Station franchise Eat Bulaga it means they bought the Format of Noontime show I think this is the first it happened in Philippine television that a foreign station franchise our local show, In the interviewed the Indonesian said he was watching Eat Bulaga through Youtube Channel and study that this kind of television show Indonesian people will love to have. They started the Pilot show last July 16, at 4:30 pm Indonesia time and will be show here at Philippines tomorrow. I am really excited how Indonesian hosts act . It's about time at least this time we are not the one who franchise a show like Pinoy Big Brother, X Factor, Philippines Got Talent and many more. For me it is something we should be proud of....Eat Bulaga Forever happy mylotting

wow, really? such a good break. franchise in indonesia, means to say that crew and staff of the said show really give a good shot in entertaining people including other country. i really love Eat Bulaga since from the start. the show shows such bonding and tough vigor through times. they started at the other station and transferred to GMA 7 for unsure reasons. they make it more bigger now and creative enough to give happiness to all, in terms of entertainment and prices. good to hear this one indeed

Do they also have their own version of Jimmy Santos, Allan K, Wally and Jose, and Ruby? Not exactly the stereotypes, mind you, just the characteristic funny hosts of the show ^^

I find it weird that they have dancers in "manang" attires. Oh well, that's more of the culture/religion there I guess. And I'm also surprised that they have the Juan for All, All for Juan segment. I've been raised to think that only the Philippines have slums. Silly me.

I think this is something that channel 2 should emulate. No offense to Channel 2 but it's been buying franchisees of foreign shows and make something better from it in the process. example are big brother, x factor, deal or no deal, etc but to be fair those are all successful shows. I don't question the talents channel 2 got in fact I think it has the most number of talented and bankable artists in its backyard. So why buy a franchise and pay hefty amounts for it when you can make your own and succeed just like eat bulaga did. But then eat bulaga is eat bulaga, i think this is one truly filipino show that others imitate but can't equal.

hi ybong, That's true Eat Bulaga is still Eat Bulaga even how much they tried to copy everything from the original one still it will be different from other way. I hope Philippine Television will realize that we also do have a good television show that can be export to other countries. thanks for the response happy mylotting

Right on! It's definitely a first for the Philippines. It makes me even prouder to be Filipino, and moreso because I have been a loyal fan of the show since its first telecast in 1979

True. I absolutely agree with you my friend. This is just the start. I know a lot of foreign station will gladly to follow. I am very positive of that and what we should do now is to do our best and wait for sometime good to happen. Eat Bulaga has been a long airing program. I guess it is been there when I am not yet born. It is old already but it never fails to make the audience laugh especially the Filipinos. Kudos to Eat Bulaga!

i heard about the franchise of the show from my wife. i don't have enough time to watch the entire show everyday and most of the time, i read the news from the internet. and when i heard it from my wife, i searched the internet and confirmed the indonesian version of the 30+ tv show. yes, this is something filipinos should be proud of too.

Yes,i have seen earlier this day from youtube that there was eat bulaga indonesia.at first i thouht it was just a joke but then there was host. I have seen the pinoy henyo.there indonesia pintar. There's also juan for all and they are using eat bulaga shirts, they have their own so-called jose wally and paolo.i just dont know if they were impersonating thegm or what. I never thought it was really a franchise like pinoy big brother and others. Its really a good thing that someone has appreciated the show and export it.
