For us from Cagayan de Oro, Philippines who were once a victim of typhoon Sendong. Having heavy rains is so scary. Here comes typhoon Ferdie, hope it won't do any damage again. Please cross your fingers for us.

Yesterday, Ferdie affected our province. It was raining , though i thank God it didn't cause flooding. I hope and pray your place will be spared by Ferdie.

I thought Ferdie just started today....Yesterday the weather here is fine but late in the afternoon there's a rain but it's not that heavy.

I think it started yesterday because it was already so rainy. In fact, Manila and its neighboring places have suspended classes because some areas are already flooded.

i have been to cagayan de oro only one time. what i could remember is the road going to the city. before we reach the poblacion, there is that portion there where the road is on a mountain and the city could be seen from below. i didnt find that scary until sendong came. one friend that i know of, dennis (i dont know his family name)has stopped going to mylot after the sendong. i hope he is ok. lets pray it doesnt ever happen again. just be watchful and be ready for emergencies. ann

For now everybody wants to live that area that you mentioned to be safe by the typhoon. Currently, they develop lot of subdivisions on that certain area. I'm not that bitter but seeing corrupt people giving donations to the victims is so discouraging. To think that they give less and more goes to their own pockets.
