What's your favorite foreign movie? I think mine would have to be "Pan Tadeusz", which is a Polish film based on the book written by Adam Sienkiewicz, who was a Polish author.

Haven't heard of this, I have to check it out. My favoriate foreign movie is actually three films--the "Three Colors" triology (Red, White, and Blue) by the late Polish director Krystof Kieslowski. He also directed "The Double Life of Veronique" and other films.

I have seen lots of foreign movies but one of my favourites would have to be the Italian movie (which is a like a mniniseries really) called "The Best of Youth" ("La Meglio Gioventu"- it is a heartwarming, realistic film of a family and their experiences set behind a backdrop of politics and major recent historical events all over Italy. Thre is so much packed into this movie and it is very very good. Defintely would recommend this one. I have seen the "Three Colours" trilogy as well and thought they were very clever movies.

I have a few loved foreign films. My favorite is probably 'Run Lola Run.' But I also like 'The Princess and the Warrior' and 'Amelie'
