I'm taking tomorrow off!

I left my boss a note saying I'm taking tomorrow night off and be in Tuesday. With him I've worked about 8 days straight and I found myself so tired today. I will have to work during the day but it will give me the afternoon to relax, and write up my resume as well as do things I've been pushing off. I feel like all I do is work, I can't prepare a real meal, or just sit outside and relax.

I do think that there are times that you really need to take some time for yourself and working as hard as you've been working and working for the number of days straight that you've been working, you really do need a break. I just hope that everything has gone well for you on your day off of work. I also hope that when you head back to all of your responsibilities tomorrow that the day will go by quickly and you will be feeling nice and refreshed.

I still had to work my day job, but it was nice not have to rush to work right after it. I relaxed at home, then went out shopping, and sold a few items online. Now Im relaxing the rest of the night before heading to bed. With this heat it just makes your exhausted.

It's good taking a break off from working 8 hours or even more. I hope your boss is cool enough to not get angry because of it. I don't work yet, im in school but right now in vacation I'm working online specially in writing sites like squidoo and doing surveys. I need extra cash.

Nope, I usually make up my own hours, and if he really needs me he will ask for me to go in certain days. I work several jobs, and he is the most leanient so I asked for the day off.

It sounds like you are overdue for some time off. It's good that you are taking tomorrow night off--have a chance to relax some before you get burnt out.

Yes, it will allow me to relax, and have some time to catch up on everything I have been pushing off.

No point over working and causing yourself to get burnt out. You could always play around online and get some extra $ through surveys and what have you. Enjoy yor day off!

I agree, I need a day to catch up and complete my to do list instead of worrying about money. I plan on just relaxing, spending time with the brats, and online catching up on everything including MyLot.

8 days straight! You really need a day or two off as you are really tired now. You did the right thing. Hope he is okay with it and you deserve to do that. Don't push yourself too much and think about yourself as well. Have some time to relax and eat well.(^^)
