Attack of the Gamers

I always receive game requests from Facebook friends who are, well, addicted to Facebook games. At first it is ignorable but just now when I logged after 3 days of not being on it, I got about 57 notifications all about game requests. Last month, I already appealed to my friends that I am not interested in games. I think I said it in a really nice way. As an added measure, I also blocked game requests from particular games. But we all know that each day, more games are being created. I simply cannot block them all. For those who are not into Facebook games, how do you deal with this (aside from getting rid of your Facebook LOL!) It's not really a big deal but because it's also in my notifications I am missing some important ones that I've been following.
