Spending Rs.2000 for a single t-shirt is something unncecessary. But still, if we comment on them, we would get a response as it is their own money and they know how to spend it. Also it is in each person's hand on learning the value of money and how to use it efficiently. It is not easy to earn a single ruppee, but it is more easy to spend thousands of Ruppees in an hour.

There are people I know who are brand conscious. They do not buy things without brand name. Even though it looked very ordinary as long it's branded, they buy these things. I do not understand also why... Though we know for a fact that people appreciates other people who wears these things. But it doesn't mean that people will not respect you if you don't... It still depends on your attitude and character. I also buy cheaper things because for me it's practical. I can buy 2 or even 3 for the price of 1 expensive branded clothes. It just depends on how you wear it and how you bring yourself...

yes. this sort of maturity has come to us because of our age. we know nothing is indispensable and we have to buy only essential things. I am also more like you. I avoid luxuries. I avoid costly things. I do not go for walking regularly as you do. it depends on value system told to us by our parents.

Hello Yugasini, how are you? Based on your statements, I think that you are a frugal person. Good for you. As a result, you areable to enhance your choices toady. Well, I am of a similar personality as you, but, I may be as disciplined as you are. Why? I have been encouraged to splurge every once in a while by my partner, and occassionally by my little one. Perhaps, since thay are in my life, (and have some influence on me) I have given them the some financial 'lattitude' to operate around me; as I allow them to use my cards to shop., and have some fun.

Hello Yugasini, It is very nice discussion in this site. I am also not a particular of any thing. I will adjust with any thing i.e., any food any where to live and any where to sleep. I will lead a very simple life with adjustment. I am also sailing in the same boat. Now you are in a position that your sons are feeding you, but my son it still studying. I have to wait three more years for my family. Then only I will lead a good life.
