What are the types food/exercise for a flat tummy?

Help. Haha! Gone were my glory days of eating and munching all the food I wanted without getting fat. I think metabolism really slows down as you grow old :( Though, I'm not that old I did gain wait and it's noticeable in my tummy and thigh section. Is there anyone who can give me effective advice? I want to be healthy and fit :)

Yey!!! Thanks for the tip. I could do the walking and running or jogging thing. I've been doing sit ups and as far as I can see they're helping a lot. It's weird because now when I don't exercise, my body feels weak...why is that?

weak and lazy? It is because your body is already accustomed to it. I'm experiencing that too lately since i stopped my exercise routine. Don't hurry your self cause you'll get bored. I lose weight for 4 weeks, i have a nice toned tummy and got exhausted eventually. Now, I'm gaining weight and worried. I used to walk/jog for 11 km. and the effect was great but got bored.
