there are some digital cameras with wifi. so you cna share your picture online instantly. i don't know how you are going to do that if you are outside and with not wifi signal. anyway, the price is like about $275 and up depending on the brand. . if you are a person that takes a lot of picture then it would be awesome to have this kind of camera. but i don't usually take a lot of pictures. so i don't think that i would buy this one despite the good features. not if the price would go down . maybe to $100 i may consider buying it. i think that the price is pretty expensive for me although i know that gadgets now are more affordable now compared to few years back.

I haven't heard of that new feature on cameras. Probably, I'm that outdated with this technology. We've just bought a new one, but no fancy features as that. I just needed a camera to take good high quality pictures with. You're right, that's good for those who take lots of pictures and would easily fill up their memory cards. And, also for those hard core social network peeps, who always wants their profiles updated with newly taken photos.

i won't need a camera at all. so i don't need to buy any kind of digital camera. but somehow it is cool to own one. if it is only cheap to buy a digital camera.

Actually, there are many cheaper cameras that have about the same important features as those that are more expensive. Sometimes, its only the look that differs, but the features are the same. So, if ever you want to get one that is within your budget, do some canvassing and window shopping before you buy one so you get the best for your money.

I feel it is unnecessary to have WIFI in a digital camera. Connecting internet with a camera means an open passage to take virus from the web. That will again be a new headache. Coming to price of camera with WIFI, in India the cheapest Camera costs Rs. 4,050 INR. i.e. roughly $73 i.e. the price for Benq DC-C40 and for the least among the popular brand is Canon Digital IXUS 240 HS which costs Rs. 15,495 INR. i.e. roughly $278.

For me a camera is for taking picture and hence I don't see the use of Wifi in a camera. If you go for the cheaper one only for the sake of wifi, then you might regret that there are not too good features required for taking snaps. In a cheaper camera the Optical Zoom will be less and there might be many other features missing, then what will you do with Wifi.

Digital camera with Wifi is a good improvement. I don't care about the 3D digital photos or GPS feature for the digital camera. But I will be interested in a digital camera with Wifi. We just had a trip and sometimes I posted photos online by my cellphone or tablet. In fact I think it is silly to take photos by a tablet because it looks weird. I prefer to use a digital camera much more since the photo result is the best. I love China

what type of camera is under or $100? a four times optical zoom? really? you are buying a 12 megapixel with four to five times optical zoom? are you planing to photograph a one by one picture for your identification card? doesn't mean that you have a 12 megapixel camera that you have hit the jackpot. when we are referring to good camera. you have to consider the build too, the optical lens that they are using. you don't want to have plastic lens for your camera. it really sucks. the photograph is like a nightmare at elms street. it's just nightmare. i have a point and shoot camera. it's only a 5 mega pixel camera but i have ten times optical zoom. meaning it's like having a 300mm lens equivalent on a dslr. why is the optical zoom important? so i can take sharper images of subjects 50 to a 100 meters away. if you have a 5 times optical zoom when you zoom in something, the image will look pixelated or noisy sometimes. though it's 12 megapixel but that won't help you to have sharper focus on your subject. the pixels is just the size of your image not the one that will help you with your focus. when it comes to focus the lens is the one that will help you with the focus. most of the cameras that i know who has longer optical zooms ranges around $300 to 400.

i don't know if there are any digital cameras under $100 that is good enough. i think the price won't go down that low. although i wished it would.

I will never be impressed with digital cameras until they make one that can last all day and take 30 or 40 pictures on ONE set of batteries, or ONE recharge! Cheap cameras only cost a fortune in batteries!

i think digital cameras about $150 would have rechargeable batteries inside like the ones on mobile phones. not the traditional batteries we buy and dispose or those rechargeable ones. so it is less hassle to have this new kind of batteries that are just flat and thin and wide just like in mobile phones. but i don't know how long it would last as i have not tried one.
