Patches was sick for a bit, and shes been doing pretty well lately. But I let her sleep in my bed. I have a daybed so its pretty tight sleeping to begin with then add a cat who takes over the place. I let her sleep in my bed, and she would cuddle to get warm. Now each night she will stand at my bedroom door, and meow. I just went to the bathroom, and she followed me around until I let her in my room. She just hopped up on my bed, and took it over.

Mine do! They get away with anything. I just fel bad because all of them have had such a hard life, and try to avoid stress and such.

I guess she figures it's a new routine. She didn't realize it was because she was sick that she got to sleep with mommy. All I can say is either start refusing or hope she gets tired of it, but it sounds to me as if she's decided she's going to sleep there and mommy can sleep somewhere else.

Both of our cats sleep with us or someone in the household. They are major bed hogs, but when my husband is gone they are great company. It as also nice to have company after I had knee surgery and was laid up. They would come lay with me while I was icing my knee. However, I dislike my husbands cat of laying on me when I am trying to read lol

Aww... Smart kitty. My male cat likes to cuddle up with me and use my shoulder as a pillow. He will attempt to hold me down if I try to move. If I still get up, he will take over my pillow, sprawling lengthwise across my space in the bed.

I don't have cat it just scares me specially when they get mad but I think like dogs they can somehow relieve you from some stress or should i say physical illness cause their cuteness alone can boost you already. Well just hope you get well soon!

Your house sounds like my house. I have two cats and they sleep with us. I love how they keep me warm in the winter and I just couldn't imagine sleeping without my fur babies! What was wrong with Patches? I hope that she is healthy now. My cats also meow and follow me around. They are beautiful creatures with individual personalities and I just love having them around, even though I am allergic to them!
