Popularity is like wealth. Having it isn't always wrong. It is good to be popular because to be popular simply means to be liked by a lot of people. The problem lies in what people do to obtain or maintain it. Many people especially the young ones will do anything to be popular. Some are pleasers who follow the crowd. Others are bullies who try to force people to admire them even if only out of fear. Just realize that popularity has its ups and downs. Every situation is different, and sometimes you need to start over and over again to be popular. Your reputation may fade and change over time, and the only thing you can control is how you treat others so that others will respect you. Just be yourself and don't try to be something that you are not!

That is what I'm trying to tell BethelSophia, that everybody can acquire popularity. Popularity is not only exclusive to those who have names such singers, models, artists and etc. We also can be popular in our own way of being...

Thank you for enlightening us on popularity. It is true it is not wrong at all but what makes it wrong is how people perceive you. If you are popular because of your greatness and righteousness or kindness, good for you. But popularity of you because of bad things, it's not good. Cheers! PS. Too much publicity though is very bad. :(

Hello halfbloodace... thank you for the response. You know what I'm very glad to read your comment since you are the one who comment my first discussion. I am actually new to this site and I don't really get what you mean about what you said that too much publicity though is very bad. Can you explain to me what does it mean?
