Expecting a huge rain storm tonight.

It's been all over the radio today about how the weather is supposed to get nasty overnight. It's now raining steady, and I sent my roommate out to the store to get smokes. He's out in it now. I guess it's karma for smoking all my smokes today! Apparently, we're expecting damaging winds, hail and up to 50mm of rain. And it's supposed to rain for the next 2 days. I cleaned out the truck, so now it's getting a good washing, which it's well overdue for. I know we need the rain, but I need to work, and will be off for about 2 days. It's supposed to rain tomorrow and Friday. I can't believe my birthday will be spent at home staying dry, thankfully I don't have to work for my birthday which is nice. Hopefully it doesn't flood, but who knows, it just might, and there could be a lot of damage from wind tonight. I'll find out soon enough how much rain we get as I've put out some containers to see how much rain comes down.

They keep changing our forecast. We were actually going to get a little cooler and have a chance of precipitation, but now they have changed their predictions. I would take some rain, even if it involved rain.

I can feel that it's cooling down, the breeze is coming in through the window behind me, and it's nice. It's a steady rain, been that way for about an hour now, but I can't see what it looks like since it's so dark outside. I'm going to have to stand at the back door just to have a smoke, I can't go outside as the sunshade is out front above my truck. This is much needed rain though, and I'm glad we're finally getting it.

I am surprised that you are able to have faith on the weather forecast made. At my place, the rarely forecast it properly. Whenever they announce, it is going to rain heavily, we experience only hot sun! Anyway jokes apart! Since, please do take necessary precautions for flood or storm. Nothing wrong in being prepared! Let's hope for the best and be prepared for the worst!

Not all our forecasts are right, but this time it was. It was much needed, as it has been so dry.

We are supposed to get storms today. I would rather have them in the daytime, at least you can keep an eye out and be ready to take cover. I hope you don't get too bad of weather. Stay safe.
