Here comes the rain!

It's been very dry and hot here constantly. Tonight while at work it was on and off raining. Of course when I walked out to my car, it just poured down. The rain is coming down really heavy, the roads were floading when I was coming home as well. The lightening is so bright, it blinds you and you literally cant see anything.

It rained here too, the first time in a long time. It didn't rain as much as it did where you are, though. I might still have to water the garden tomorrow. It was such a relief to see real rain for a change, though!

It's a nice change, and it's cooled everything down. But it goes from one extreme to the next here.

Yeah, it does that here too, sometimes. We were just lucky this time, I guess, although as dry as it's been, I don't think I'd even mind a gully washer.

Exactly, we had a few days of on and off rain, but now back to the semi hot weather not as hot as it was. But the last few years the weather has been so strange and I wonder what the future weather will be like.

It's been like that for most of southern Ontario. And you're right. Those lightning flashes were brighter than it had been all day.

You can go ahead and send some south to the US. Clear to Kansas if you please. They predicted some for us, then changed their minds.

It's so dark up here that I can't see anything. We live on a street where the lights are not that close to our house. The only way I'd be able to see outside is if the motion sensor light in the backyard went on. I'm sure it's flooding up here, I'm positive that my truck box is finally getting a good cleaning, well needed after all I've hauled in it over the last couple of months. It's steady rain, it has been for a long time now. It's nice to hear it and I'm glad we're finally getting it.

It is good raining at night. Here at home, the rain likes to come at night. I like it as it won't make my dry clothes get wet.(^^)(^^)

Hope the flooding stops soon. Down here we could use the rain; we are in a drought again with another heat advisory day tomorrow. Luckily we had so much rain this spring that we are still somewhat ok. If it keep us like this, though, the plants are going to start dying like they did 2 years ago. Stay dry!

Sta safe, I hate it when it starts raining the second you try to get to the car. It always happens that way it seems. I hope you don't get to much flooding. We need rain here so send some, just some not a whole flood full, though OK? Drive safely, the blinding lightning is such a big pain to drive in.
