Tacos: How to make them more delicious?

I love Mexican food. It's taste is quite the same with Filipino dishes. It has the sweet, sour, salty and tangy flavor that I love because of the different ingredients incorporated in it. And it's healthy too. Lately, I've been wanting to make tacos for my family and friends. But my dilemma, is how to to make the sauce taste good. I wanted to impress them and I want to make sure that they'll like it (they don't like eating vegetables that much). So can you share some ideas? thanks!

There is no sauce in a taco. You cook the meat in a bit of "seasoning juice" but that is all. I just fry up a pound of 80/20% burger meat. Then use a taco seasoning packet from McCormick SHilling or Lawry's and you mix that with a cup of water. Pour into the fried, drained beef and mix it up, let it simmer for about 20 minutes with lid on...(the lid on keeps the flavors and steam in so they flavor the meat). I go about 3/4 cup of water at first and see how it goes as I can always add more. If you use to much water, there is to much "juice" and you don't want all that water in your taco...just enough to flavor the meat...and if it gets a bit to dry.. add more water. Then the other secret I have found...deep fry the shells yourself. Store bought ones are dry and tasteless and half the time broken in the box. So heat up some corn oil (corn fries better and faster than vegetable) and put a corn tortilla in half way (holding with a tongs) and once it starts frying...fold it on over. Doing this gives a good, even crease/bottom to the shell. Then when that side is fried, turn it over. Make them not fried hard, just lightly hard... they don't break this way. To drain the oil...lift them out of the oil...let all that will drain out, drain out..and then using 2 paper towels folded together, lay the shell on the end, wrap the towel around the shell and fold the towel INTO the shell and then press. THat way you get out all the oil inside the shell, and on both sides. Fill with meat, lettuce and cheese..that is my favorite way. Others add diced tomatoe and sour cream, but I don't. Have fun eating a great meal!
