I just painted my nails. I love my nails looking pretty but I hate waiting for them to dry! It feels like forever to wait for them to be done. And sometimes I think I waited long enough they aren't sticky anymore so I do something and they get messed up! Do you hate waiting for your nails to dry too?

No . My secret. I do my nails while watching a favorite show. I put on my base4 coat, watch some of the show. Then put on my first coat of color, watch some more. And then a second coat. Some of my colors are " Quick Dry" but I still wait at least 10 minutes before I put on my top coat. Usually by the time my hour show is over , my nails are set. Then I go wash my hands under cool water. That sets the nail color.

I also like doing my own nails and painting them in different nail polish that suits my mood. I only hate the part when I have to paint the nail of my right hand. I always mess it up, like I can't get the nail polish get into where they should stay. I don't have someone else to help me out, so...

Speaking of husbands, I wish I have taken a picture on how my hands turn out when I managed to convince my hub to give doing my nails a try. I have no words for it lol!

Yes...I use the quick dry stuff but it doesn't seem to last as long as the usual polish..I might be wrong but it seems softer or something.

It really doesn't take that much time as long as you don't put a thick coat on. another tip is after a few seconds, run your nails under cold water, it helps to dry them even quicker.

It took forever because I had a lot I wanted to do & I put on 2 coats so it wouldn't chip so fast this time so it felt longer than it actually was. Lol. I was being impatient. That is a great tip, I will do that. I really never knew that would work! Thank you. =)

Oh I forgot another tip, make sure the previous coat is dry before applying another coat, because if one coat is still wet, then it will take longer to dry.

I do hate waiting for my nails to dry. That may be why I don't do them all that often. There is some stuff you can get that you put on top and it helps them to dry faster. It's just like a top coat. Clear I guess. I think you can get it from Avon but am not sure.

I always did mine after a nice warm shower and pedicure. Hope that 'stuff' works for you.

Yeah I hate waiting if I have something to do! It drives me crazy. Lol. If I have nothing to do then it doesn't matter but I always seem to polish them at bad times... I should try that stuff!

I don't paint my nails. I used to when I was going through that faze! Anyway even if I did it is not a good idea. I work in foodservice. It is not a good idea to wear finger nail polish to work. I do wear vinyle gloves but I remember the polish can come off when wearing them! So I don't do that anymore!

I have always painted my nails. They look too plain to me without polish. Yeah certain jobs you cannot have polish on.

You should try to spray dryer or invest in one of the dryers at the nail shop I love to polish my nails also and always think they are dry to soon!

Yeah those are expensive. I wish I could afford it though I would get one! Lol. Yeah I think we have all done that at one point or another. Think they were dry and messed them up because they weren't...
