Her ear pierce closed up

We had her ears pierced last year, and had on a pair of cute studs with her birthstones. However, after a few months, she accidentally pulled off the one on her left ear as she took off her shirt and we can't find where it went. It took us a couple months before we we able to buy her a new pair because we kept forgetting to drop by the shop. When we finally had the chance, she wasn't in a good mood to have the earrings replaced, so we just tried it at home, instead. To our surprise, the left ear pierce already closed up, so we didn't force it. Up until now, she still has no earrings on. I would want her to start wearing earrings again, but she is very hesitant to feel the pain again from the piercing. Is there an easy way to get those tiny holes open, without having to pierce them again?

So, you're not wearing any earrings at all? I hope there were snap on earrings available for kids, so I don't have to force her to get her ears pierced again.

There is no other way to get it done unless you stick a need in her ear the old fashion way. If she wants them that bad she'll just have to suck it up. That is why with my daughter I got her ears done at 2 months old and we where able to get and extra pair to change them out after she had them in her ears for a year. But she did end up losing one before the year was up so I quickly put in the extra set that I had. My parents keep buying her little ear rings so I just put them in case she lose the ones she has in right now. I had my ears done at a young age and they closed up because I wasn't wearing mine. I tried to get them done when I was 9 again but I freaked out so I waited till I was 13 and got it done. It hurt but only for a minute and when I got my second set done it didn't hurt at all. I learned when they do it just to take a deep breath because then it doesn't hurt as much.

The place that we got my daughters ears done give you a second pair for free or half of depending on what time of the year you get it done. It also helps having family that likes to buy things for her so they get use a couple of pairs here and there. Every bodies body is different but a lot of time as young kids they tend to heal really quick.

I think that's a good idea to have an extra set ready in case they lose it. I'd do exactly just that once she gets her ear pierce open again.

Lucky you! It's seldom here that you get to bring a second set. That's very thoughtful of them. But, didn't you have to pay for the extra pair?

that is why i always wear earrings everyday because i am afraid to have another ear piercing again, especially when my ears freshly pierced,if the hole already close i think you need another ear piercing again, but if it still have small hole you can still use earrings from tiny to large so that it will gradually make the hole bigger.

oh no that poor thing might have to go through the pierce pain because I think you have to pierce it again. I have not heard of anything that can open the tiny little hole. Since our body heals to anything that way the hole of the earlobe of your daughter is healed and that's why its close when no earring was there.

Oh my, she's not going to like it. So, perhaps, we'll just wait till she's ready to face it again.
