I have always this regret on my past. They would always said that in life there is no Turing back, and that is what I am keeping on my head right now. I am 25, jobless and unhappy with life. I finished my College for 5 years and half when supposed to be it's only a 4 year course. I never get my parents to be proud of me, they provided everything just to send me to an expensive school but all i did was to hang out with friends and skipping school. At my age, my friends are now professionals, some have already their own families while i'm still here, Blaming myself for what I did. I am still on the process of acceptance. Accepting everything and that I still can manage to get through all of this in time soon.

hey there, where on the same boat. i feel the same, so unhappy. and it sucks that the only people who can make me happy are so far away from me... friends, my nephew and my boyfriend who is a thousand miles away from me. i am done trying to please my family. If only i could i would have gone already a long time ago. it is hard looking for a job when you don't have something to start with. there are a many times i thought of giving up but i have my friends who keep telling me to stay strong and never lose hope. when i had problems with my boyfriend, that was, i think, the worst. i almost gave up because i felt like he was all i had. but i am so glad we are okay now and we try not to go back to the past again. i hope you get through all your problems too... let us just stay strong. take care and God bless. by the way welcome to mylot

We all have done something in the past that we regret, or even wish we could change. But sadly, its stuck in the past. I know its hard if you compare yourself with others; think of the what-ifs and could have beens. But there's no sense in beating yourself down for it. What's done is done. I'm not saying you should completely forget about it. If anything, you should never ever forget the lessons your past actions has brought into your life. You are in the now, you can still work on it. You're still young and its never too late to start anew.

yes I'm still young and I can still do a lot of things to make these things work. I just need to push myself and just work hard for it. Thank you :)

I really don't believe that there is a person that is alive that does not have some kind of regrets in their lives. So, things in your life to date are not going the way that you would like for them to be going, but that doesn't mean that you don't have the ability to change the course that your life is going to take in the future. Honestly, I think that is one of the really beautiful things about life is the fact that even though we are not able to change things in our past, we are able to take steps that will make our lives better in the future.

There is no turning back, there is just moving forward. Take what you've learned from your past use it and move forward. We all make mistakes in our lives, the only thing we can do is to learn from them and move on and do not dwell on past failures, learn from them. Also learn from your successes and be proud of your accomplishments. Onward and upwards my friend, you have a lot of living and learning to do. Life is an adventure to be lived and enjoyed.

Hello, it's normal to have regrets in the past for all of us have our own regrets. But if these regrets hinder you to proceed with your future, then it is already not good to you. I understand it is hurtful, but you can still do something in your present, all you have to do is to have enough self-esteem, determination and acceptance over the matter as well. And in that case, I pray that you come to accept it soon so you can start anew and live your life to the fullest. With regards to your parents, they are always proud of you for you are their child, they loved and still loving you. So don't think they are not proud of you. Furthermore, don't blame yourself anymore; forgive yourself for what you have done. You cannot change the past, but you can still make adjustments in your present to attain the future you want. Bless you :)

Fortune does not always favour us as like we can get a job just after our education. Better you can try for an overseas job.bro
