We ended up ordering from the Japanese, Chinese and Thai restaurent. Some of the items I wouldnt order again as it was too spicey, or it wasnt fresh. Overall I thought it was really good, the guy delivering it was very nice, and brought it out back. My Mom made a cake and it tasted like oreos (she didnt mean too but it was rather delicious). The only issue was my two brothers whining because they like this or that and want that.

The fact that you really don't know what to expect is one of the reasons that I sometimes hesitate to try something that I have never had before, but the types of food that you ate all sound like something that I would enjoy eating. As far as the cake that your mother made that ended up tasting like an Oreo is something that sounds really delicious. I would absolutely love to know how she ended up making the cake.

I agreee I dont usually try food Ive never tried or a restaurent especially not the large amount we ordered. My older brother had tried it before, and liked it. Overall it wasnt bad, but not something I would order all the time. The cake was really good, and it was just a boxed cake, and simple homemade icing just turned out tasting like an oreao.

Hey, they were celebrating YOUR birthday, right. They need to quit whining. Thai food, the way I understand it, is usually quite spicy.

Thats what I said, they always expect to order a page worth of food, and they wont eat it. I ordered 1 of something for everyone so I knew they would like it. But both of them expect 6 things because they like it, they are selfish like that even when someone else is paying.

I am glad that your supper went so well. You deserve the best for all you do. I think your brothers were a little jealous. It is nice to see 'em so uncomfortable at your success. You know the best revenge is to do well.

I never have Thai food , I dont think any is even in my country , I would probably have to go to a hotel to get Thai food . I love every kinda cake , I remember eating one whole cake in about 3 days ( greedy ). Younger brothers can be a pain .

If they don't like it then leave it. Don't eat the food and stop complain. I am glad you are satisfied with it. A cake tasted like Oreos?? Wow, that is yummy!!

I'm glad overall you had a good celebration! I hate that some of the stuff was too spicy or wasn't fresh. The "not fresh" part concerns me as I am sure there are guideliens they have to follow as to when to throw things out etc... When I worked fast food I think fries had to be thrown out after an hour (for example).

That was nice! Having a good meal with your family seems like a heart-warming idea. I also several nice meals for the past two days because it was my daughter's birthday. We had the usual food that kids enjoy like spaghetti and chicken. Yesterday, we at McDonald's as it is one of the fast food chains that my daughter enjoys.
