which is good..being silent or being funny in education institutions...?

i am doing my engineering degree, and i will sit in the middle of the benches arranged. I have different character in different places. In house i do lot of funny things and got lot scoldings from my mom and i enjoy that. But in my college i will be very calm and always listening to the class. Teachers respect me so much and do lots of favour for me because of being obedient to them. but i am not talking so much to my friends so that i have a less friends circle. but the students who are doing lots of funny things in classes are always scolded by the teachers but they have a great friends circle and enjoying their life. just tell me which is best in educational institutions..? being silent and obedient or making funny and enjoying the classes..?

I think the best behavior inside the classroom is to listen to your teacher because that is the main purpose why you are in school is to learn. Outside, you can joke around with your friends. Besides, joking around while classes are going on is rude and impolite.

As long as you are in the classroom, you should be attentive and concentrate on your lectures, but once you are free from the classes or have a free lecture there is no harm in hanging around with your friends. Students who try to distract the entire class with their funny stuffs are not liked by other students and teachers, so better avoid it. As you said you enjoy in your home atmosphere and make every one laugh, try to be friendly in college also. College is the best time of our life and give us many memories which are cherishable. Also, we need to concentrate in our studies because our sincere efforts will help us achieve our dreams for career and life. So enjoy college life and chill out

Well our mood changes sometimes, it is human to do both. It is normal to adjust to different surroundings and situations. It seems that engineering is a dedicated and formal study so why not be serious in class. As you said there are times for social activities and in these we can be funny. I think in mylot we can do both things too. I look at the topic and make my judgement on this too.
