Frogs, Frogs, Frogs everywhere!!!!

I really hate frogs. I find them so slimy and gross... and whenever I see a frog i get goose bumps..
My worst frog experience happened long time ago... My siblings were collecting frogs in a pail (I forget why). I think I'm the only one who is scared of frogs in my family.
Anyway, they were collecting frogs in a pail, then all of a sudden (I forget how) the pail of frogs fell down and all the frogs starting hopping around.. The pail of frogs was in the center of me and the door inside our house.. So I couldn't run inside the house without encountering a frog... Everywhere I looked there was a frog hopping.. I was so scared.. I almost cried. LOL. that was long time ago so I forgot what happened after that...
There are very many kinds of frogs in our place.... There are very tiny frogs (like really tiny you can hardly see them), Semi tiny frogs (also tiny but not as tiny as the first frogs I mentioned), then there are the normal frogs (I don't really know how to describe them but I call them normal because they're the kinds of frogs we see everyday), super flat frogs (like really flag sometimes you'll thing they're a leave), super huge frogs (This are my hatest), and last but not least (we actually only saw this kind of frog once) the white frog...............
But really, I'm having goose bumps writing about frogs... so I better stop now...
How do you overcome the fear of frogs? Help me pls because there are a lot of frogs here in my place....

I am scared of frogs as well. I can't hold them. In Fiji there is normally one kind of frog as far as I know. My cousin can hold frogs since she was a biology student in Uni and she had to operate the frogs. One day I was at her place and she caught a frog and was coming after me. I was yelling and running away from her as fast as as could. her mother was cutting vegetable at the table and she also got so scared. Her mother became sick, she almost had a heart attack. it can be dangerous at times.
after the rains there are so many frogs around our compound. What we used to do, we used to tie a bud on a long thread and we threw it near the frogs, And slowly slowly pull or shake the string. The frogs think that it is some sort of insect and jump and take out the long tongue and swallow the bud. instantly we used to pull the string over in the air. Since we were kids, it was fun to see the frogs fling in the air by the string..lol Now when I think it was torture that we gave them.
Some people eat frogs as well but the ones that are edible. they are a bit bigger in size and those who have eaten, say that it tastes like chicken or even tastier. I can't eat frogs. i feel yuck. I don't know exactly how to overcome the fear of frogs but one thing you can do is think that they can not harm you..

Well, they don't bite do they? That's a plus. I'm not sure of how people get rid of their fears. I just kind of live with mine. :-{ I do have a frog story, though. When we were kids we'd go to my aunt & uncle's in the country. They had a well way down in back of their house. Frogs lived there. One day my older brother (I was about 7) came walking toward me with his hand behind his back. I knew this was not a good sign. I started backing up all the time telling him he better leave me alone. My favorite line back then was "I'm tellin' Daddy on you!" I backed up into a rock wall. That's when I really started yelling. He had a very large frog in his hand. He was holding it by it's back legs and whipped it around and slapped me right in the face with it. It didn't hurt but it felt cold and wet and slimy. I must have been screaming and crying about that for half an hour. lol! But I'm not afraid of them. I just don't like being hit in the face with one.

I know frogs don't bite but it's just gross the thought and the feeling when a frog lands on your foot...
Yeah, my sister also does that to me sometimes.. She knows I'm so scared of frogs that when she finds a frog she hides it at her back and tells me she has a "surprise for me" and I know right away what it is... but she doesn't make it touch me and of course she doesn't slap me with frogs, she only shows it to me and pretends to throw it at me.. Haha..
I would not want to be slapped with a frog!! Gross! Haha
