Your friends don't do this on purpose but just so you know. I bet you didn't even realize things like this might need some privacy from friends. I just unchecked all the right boxes in my settings and I can say I'm alittle more safe now. http://facecrooks.com/Internet-Safety-Privacy/how-to-protect-your-personal-data-from-facebook-applications-your-friends-use.html

I ran into my first malware experience, and I had to do a complete restore of my laptop to get it working like normal again. It's a shame that Facebook doesn't screen a lot of these Apps.

Oh that doesn't sound good, I hope you never get it again. Was it from FB? How do you know for sure? I think they should screen those apps, it would save their users alot of trouble, and with all of the money they have they could do it.

I'm not sure if it was from Facebook, but the problems started when i downloaded an App on there. It's made me so nervous I'm hesitant to download anything anymore. I lost the beginning of a book i was writing because of it.

What kind of book were you writing? Oh I'm so sorry you lost the beginning of it, thats alot of media to loose, it was probably alot of good reading too. I wouldn't blame you, I'd be too nervous to download anything from there too. I try not to anymore.

I check my settings every week, as some are changing back. Its terrible to know that Facebook doesn't make the site secure. I'm headed there now to make sure the setting are right.

That is a good idea, you can't be too careful. i don't like the fact thatthey can change back again after changing them the way you want that is just not good at all, and it just makes it more aggravating.
