aside from having to work, hubby and i took our son, his best friend, his girlfriend, and my daughter's best friend (my daughter had to work) and took them down to galveston. it was great to get into the gulf. it felt great!! then we took them to the new pleasure pier. overall, it was ok. quite a bit overpriced, but it was nice to see something different in galveston. we had dinner and the waitress asked me if they were all mine. ;) i said "yep! biological and adoptable" she smiled. only if my daughter had been able to go with us, it would've been the perfect day.
