It's good that he is exercising, now he should add some things to his diet that actually help his body lose that extra belly fat. And there are a couple things that I believe do this, almonds and pomegranite juice. I recently saw on the Dr. Oz show that pomegranite juice does help burn off belly fat, and I can't remember where I saw almonds did the same thing. And also, tell him to drink COLD water (not room temp) because when you drink cold water, your body burns a few extra calories trying to warm it up!

No problem! Good luck to your friend! I'd never heard that water thing before either, but I was happy when I did because all I ever drink is cold water! I can't stand room temperature or warm water! YUCK!

Sorry thought of a couple things to add regarding the exercise part of this! 1) Tell him to do more crunches! This works on the ab muscles and helps to flatten the belly! 2)If he has a little extra fat around his waist, tell him to bike ride (whether it's on a stationary bike or a regular bike). I heard that this helps with the "love handles." 3)Tell him to look up exercise video on youtube that work at toning the "core." Thsi is what my sister does, and she has no stomach fat to speak of! Have him check out this guy's videos! http://www.youtube.com/user/sixpackshortcuts?v=Lln3c_37GnQ http://sixpackshortcuts.com/?c=3&k=111

You can't choose where you lose the fat when you're dieting and exercising, you just have to try your best to be healthy and hope that it comes off from the places that you're hoping to lose it from. I have lost a lot of weight in the past couple of years, and I have learned that you should simply try to be as active as you can, as this it going to be how you manage to get the weight off that you need to get rid of. Tell your friend to try and do even more exercise than he's doing if he isn't seeing enough of a difference at the moment, and he should find that this is more than enough to help him with what he is aiming to achieve.

I would recommend the following methods to reduce weight effectively - 1. jogging for at least 20 minutes per day at 10km/hour speed; 2. swimming twice or thrice a week for one hour 3. abdominal exercises, i.e. different types of crunches Last but not the least, drinking 2 to 3 litres of water per day!

Drinking enough water and walking is one of the best exercise as well try to eat some spicy food,it will burn fats.Walking daily for at least 30 mins is a big help.Sleeping is also one factor since according to the study, people who sleep less than 8 hours is prone to obesity so make sure to sleep 8 hours to reduce cravings. These are some of my tips.
