I will miss you guys. We have an announcement today by our city government that we have a whole day power interruption starting 8am up to 5pm. So in this case it's my rest day in front of my laptop and surely I will miss most of your discussion. I'm still thinking what are the things I can do tomorrow if I don't have power? Maybe I will call my friend to hangout and go to the mall. What do you think guys?

Hi, Where are you from? Here in India also, in certain states got affected a major power-grid failure and many areas and places is gone day-night power failure for few days and the authorities are still working to resolve the problem. Are you here in India somewhere New Delhi, the worst affected area.

I'm from Philippines the reason of power interruption here is because of the typhoon we have and they have to clean our city from trees and electric wires to fix. I know in India just because of the power plant I guess.

I guess if you are a writer online, then you should write offline and by the time the power connection is stable, then you have many articles to post. Nice discussion. :)

Will the mall have power? I guess it will be cool in there. When there is sunlight one can read an actual book that is printed on papers as opposed to a kindle sort of thing. It is fun to turn pages.

Yes they have power generators and most of the people in the city are there to have fun. Reading books is fun but I guess it's time for us to go out

that would a good time to take a rest the whole day. if you can't go out, you can still stay inside and spend the whole day with your kids or have a long long sleep throughout the day.

Well, you, like me, now I seem to become a Mylot-addict. I understand you perfectly. To me, not a day passes that I do not write at least some threads of this magnificent site. About a month ago (as u know), Mylot and we all had some problems users have had to give up working on it. Fortunately, everything is back to normal, and even the site we were rewarded by paying us 4 times our daily gain for nearly a week. As for what you can do during a power failure, to go to the park with friends, it seems to me, a good idea!

I agree with Alberello, it seems even 1day I will be missing a lot here. Going to the park today is not advisable because we still have strong winds and heavy rains. Going to the mall lr stay at my house is the best. But I will bored If I will be stay at my house.

Yhea good thing in your city it is very large and only in your areas has no power but here the whole city is totally block out, were just lucky that we already have a new mall that we can spent most of out time to ease boredom.

At least your city government gave notice of power interruption instead of getting surprised with the lack of electricity. It helps you to prepare what to do on that day. Hmmmm...Well, living without electricity is quite difficult so going to the mall is a great idea. However, just resting and sleeping all day is my best bet. I am a lazy guy! Well, you called it rest day so I literally will rest on that day!

I will miss you too lynboobsy. Last Saturday night we experienced power interruption too from 12 midnight up to 8 am due to strong win and typhoon, even though we want to go out to bring some food or stay in 7/11 for a while we can't do it because we cant go out because of the flood. Going to the mall and hangout with friend is a great idea because you can be relax, enjoy and shop at the same time. I am hoping that you will have a great time with your friend. Have a nice day!

Honestly I think we could all use a day away from our computer and or electric gadgets. We are glued to them too much. Though like others'; as I'm sure I"m not the only one justify it by the fact we are working on some earnings on some web site or another.

I think that would drive me nuts. I am lost with out my laptop. Thank goodness I do have an Iphone so I could still get online that way but omg no power. That really sucks. I hate when they have to shut our power off they have not had to do it recently but I do remember having a hot day with no power and not having a car to go any where. We hung out down in the basement and played board games where it was cool with our battery operated lamps for camping thank goodness my kids were little enough they thought it was fun. I was just trying to make something happen that they would think it was fun. I hope that you don't have to go the entire time with out power and that they get you back up and running quick. Like I said I would be nuts with out my computer.

They say because of the typhoon many big leaves and tress are hanging on the power lines and they will have to cut down the power so that no one will hurt. We still have strong winds at the moment water are rising again from the rivers that's why were also alert. I hope I can go out for malling today.

What's the reason for the power interruption friend? Hope it's not another rotating brown out that would affect even us living here in metro Manila, was it caused by the recent typhoon and flooding? Yes the mall, it's cold and time flies by fast there and before you know it you will be back Mylotting, OK till then....
