My Source of Happiness...

My source of happiness is may family. My husband who's so supportive, loving and understanding, and of course my children, who always cheers me up whenever I needed one. I've devoted all my time for them and it makes me feel fulfilled. How about you, who or what makes you happy?

Excuse me. I wouldnot like to disagree with you. It is very much true that love begets love. If you are so much loved from your childhood, you too will know only to love. You feel happy ... it must that you too are altruistic and love your family with devotion and commitment so your family members become a means to you to love and be love.
As for the statement that the family is the source of your happiness, well, all of us know that the source of eachone's happiness is his or her inner disposition to accept and donate. Then by God's grace if you are elevated to super consciousness, you will no more be conditioned by outer sources to be happy but you shall draw happiness from deep within of your SELF which a a part of the Divine. When that has been awakened then it will constantly flow and you will never be conditioned by other meansof sources of happiness. Then in suffering and in lack of sufferering you will constantly radiate that joy and happiness they you will spread it to others.

Thanks for responding srjac, I also agree with you,,,with my family as source of my happiness, but I forgot to mention that being my family as source of happiness, our family's happiness also comes from our deep relationship with God. We may not achieve this level of happiness if we are not in good relationship with Him. As for me and my husband, we make sure that God is constantly in our relationship, and it helps a lot to feel the secure and contented. We also brought our kids in such a way that God is part of our family.

Hi friend, same here, my source of happiness is my family, i love my wife and kids and blessed to have them as my family members. Everyday we have lot of fun and enjoyment. Good to hear that you are also enjoying a lot with your family

good to hear that you are happy with your family. but i also agree with the previous poster that it should not be the center of our happiness. we have a purpose and God do not want us to be like the unbeliever that can also care for their family. happiness must be from God. family is just a part of it. it is said in the bible that we must rejoice in the Church of God.
