A lady on one of the mom swap group has an unopen Virgin internet stick. She paid $299 for it a year ago but I offered $50 since they go for $100 now in store (if you can find it). I am meeting her tonight, right now Im on the wifi network but it keeps cutting in and out Im getting so frustrated with it especially last night when I tried submitting my assignment for my course.

It provides internet. You plug them into laptops for the most part and you have instant internet.

How? Do they pick up a wifi signal (not that I know what that is) and do they only work for laptops?

Great! That's wonderful you found someone who may have a wifi stick. I know that will come in handy for when you are petsitting. Virgin had the best deal out there as well didn't they?

Bravo, Ricki! I knew if it was available anywhere, you'd find it, and at a great price. You are one of the most resourceful people I know. A big congrats for a job well done.

I reside in India and I am using a Tata Photon Plus USB Stick to connect to internet. I am using a post paid connection. They charge me Rs.946/- INR. per month for a unlimited connection where till 5 GB usage the speed is 3.2 Mbps. and after that the speed reduces to 155 Kbps.
