If you have not tried the Rolo McFlurry, don't bother. There are no Rolo in it. They put in these teeth breaking pieces of chocolate and some caramel sauce.

Hubby bought some Mint Choc ice cream the other day from a supermarket and the chocolate chips are the same in that. Like you said with your Rolo McFlurry, why bother?

I generally don't like ice cream with chocolate chips cause of the exact same thing you just said. They tend to be hard and just not really chocolate chips IMO. I prefer real chocolate chips.

I do too, like the ones I put in my cookies. They tend to melt slightly when in the oven, which is how they should be. Obviously, that cannot be done with ice cream but I cannot understand why the chips are so hard. I've got dodgy gums at the moment and hard chocolate chips do them no good whatsoever!

That's kind of a cheap tactic, not having any real Rolos in it. Although I haven't had many McFlurries, I'd have to say my favorite so far is the Oreo one, which is probably influenced by the fact that I like cookies and cream ice cream and that sort of thing. Thanks for the warning, though. Now hopefully I won't break any of my teeth by eating.

Yea, I was like what's the point? I only tried it once and that was the last time. Oreo anything is yummy, I have to get something with an Oreo in it next. You're welcome for the warning, and I'm glad to have spared a few teeth along the way, too.

Indeed sounds like quite a misrepresentation! I personally find other than to control portion size that they are a waste of money to buy ice cream out. May places charge $3 for a cone (unless it's the .49 vanilla from McD's) it's good but I can wait til Edy's is on sale or get a generic and add my own candies to it.
