The weather in our area has been quite warm in recent weeks. Okay, yes, it is summer but, it has been unusually warm for our area. We moved from an extremely dry climate a few years ago. It now feels as if that climate has come down to haunt us once again. It is truly amazing how the climate in our area has changed and how it truly has become so dry recently. I read in an article in the local paper that this is the worst drought times this area has seen in more than 30 plus years. I wonder if my family jinxed this area when we moved down here. Oh the dread....

Hi, I am quite a ways north of you, but we have had drought and temperatures well into the hundreds almost all summer. It does not even cool well at night. Imagine how pleasantly surprised I was when I let the cat out this morning and it was cooler outside than it was inside. It was 58 degrees. I have the doors open before we go to church.Let that fresh air in. It is only 72 right now. I think fall may be on the way early, at least I hope so.

Hey Gerty, That is a nice change for you all. It was that way for us a few days ago. But, alas, it didn't last. You may be right. Different signs around here are pointing to an early fall for us as well. Some of our trees are already changing colors and loosing their leaves.

Last weekend we were at a car show where my husband sells Dri WashnGuard vehicle cleaning and protection. We set up on Thursday, it never did get cool but late Saturday afternoon leaves started falling.

Yes here in Mexico city, mexico as well. We should be about 76 today- and we will be 87 and humid. Seems weather is crazy all over the world. We like many other places need rain for our corn crops here. Maybe we should all get together and do a my lot rain dance.

Wow, you have milder temperatures than we do and we are the state right above you. That is very interesting. I wonder if we could pull that off.
