Life is so valuable

The bumper bar off one of the cars - This is a small bit of wreckage off one of the cars. I will not post other photos as they are too devastating. But you could imagine, two cars hitting a pole with one of them cut in half due to high speed

To day there was a blackout. I found out the rough area of the cause. I went to investigate but found diffucult getting there as police was blocking the road. I really had to take a long way around. What I found was so devasting. Two cars involved in an accident. People in the cars were either killed or in hospital fighting for their lives. Here is the most saddest thing. One of the two cars were reported to the police for street racing only the day before. I know my family could only do what they did by reporting the cars that were involved in dangerous driving, but sadly it was not good enough to save the life that was lost today. Have you even been placed in a simular position? What did you do to cope knowing that you did what you could but it was not good enough to protect life? I hope that I can make a difference here by speaking up of the devastation of the car accident. When ever you are driving and no matter how old or young you are, please drive carefully. Follow your road rules and stay alive. No street racing please. Please take care on the road no matter where you are round the world.

Reckless driving and the driver put the lives the driver and of people at risk .. I do not know why people do this? Is it the kind of love of adventure or are they enjoying it?

I am with you there samar. I don't know why people do it. Especially with the results of today's accident. I am sure that if they wished to drive fast, they could find a motor race track where they can book in and race their cars.

Driving carefully is needed for our own safety and also for the others. Whenever I hold the steering I just keep in my mind that all the ppl sitting in the car depending on me. I am responsible for their life safety and also the ppl on the road. Its a responsibility which everyone should understand before driving because we are being gifted with only one life.

I definitely agree with your statement above, and we should drive carefully, nor chatting on the phone to get distracted from the road, or to send out sms message through the phone while you are driving, especially those teens. So, car racing is definitely bad, and be patient if you could. At the road, people just want to surpass you in every single way. That just too dangerous from my point of view.

Hello Friend ! I never had such experience as you have described here but I can feel what you feel because I have been into some situations which are similar to this not as devastating as this one moreover my bad experience did not involve any deaths. This was a really a bad experience for you and very difficult accept the fact that you could have changed the outcome what you see now.But it is not completely true my friend some things are destined to happen so neither you or anyone can do anything to prevent it from happening. So only thing you can do now is pray for the soul and wish there family come out of the dark time of their life as soon as possible. Wish you all the best in life my friend....Be Happy and Make happy :)

wow so sorry that you had to witness such accident. I just think that so many people/drivers have lost so much respect for others that the world is in a sad sad situtation.. We have to be very conscience of our surroundings at all time including driving..

It is so sad that people do not think, or even care what they are doing to themselves. A young girl in my community was killed in her vehicle before her 21st birthday because of reckless driving. She had been having this type of behavior since she started driving and so many people warned her of the dangers. One of the saddest things about this and that she left behind a 6 month old baby girl who now will never know her momma.

Hi Chookie. Thank you for sharing. I think, obey traffic signs are not enough. We also anticipate the possibilities made ??by other road users. You can control yourself to be careful, but you can't control other people.

This is a very sad story. I have never really witnessed an accident up close. But it is a good thing that you reported it. A lot of people would have simply walked away from the incident. And I applaud you for that. it is nice seeing a good samaritan in our world today. Happy mylotting.
