How long should a student study in a week? What is the time needed to study for an average student to score well for their exams?

There is no exact answers to your questions. All of your queries are directed to the motivation of the student to study. There is no effective way except to motivate, impress the value of studying and making the student appreciate the studying rather than a chore. If you could be successful in doing this, the student will be studying as effectively and to by a specific time setting.

Thank you for giving your opinion about the matter. Actually, I have to agree with you about the motivation of the student to study. If one does not have the motivation to study at all, it's highly likely that a student will not achieve good results.
Enjoying study will allow one to find their optimal amount of time to produce good results.

it all depends on your grasping and memory power,so if you can learn it quite fast ,it comes to around some matter of few hours to complete study,but on a average scale its for almost 4 days in a week

It depends on the student's abilities because for example: I can learn my test the day before better than if I had studied each day while other students have to study way before in order to get their test results well. I wonder if that made any sense?

I think should be in there five days a week a study time per day at school and five to six hours of study time

i dont have specific time to study in a week. im just going to class and pay full attention what your teacher teach. Then, after that i think you can spent a lot time with my Lot.. LOL
